I CANT get into shakugan no shana

I have tried MULTIPLE (like 8) times to watch shakugan no Shana but I just can't get into it... I really want to like it but I can't find any likability in Shana.. (Excuse me if the names are wrong)... Any tips for me?

I love the idea of it and have heard that season 2 is really good... I don't hate it...

honestly I thought the series got progressively worse from the first season which i found decent at many points that didnt involve piss poor love triangle BS. Season 2 was dull and tedious and season 3 is one of the biggest trainwrecks iv ever see as it felt like it tried to fit a billion plotpoints and characters into too little time and it simply crumbled under itself as it had poor delivery on just about everything it did.

trust me if your into romance love feel good shit you'll love this anime... zero no tsukaima and shakugan no shana are probably the best animes ever 7 years of them season 3 of sns was best action every episode season 1 had a moderate amount of action season 2 had action towards the end and first half of season 2 were like fillers xd but trust me its worth the watch .

what..? its a great anime throughout season 3 action every episode this thing is jc staffs best seller so far without 10m blu rays sold 4.5m dvd lol it beat zero no tsukaima almost beating no index

not only that season 1 was great with a nice ending and season 2 was also with a plot twist at end

I'm having a little trouble getting into it. I like it, but i'm not fully engaged in it. The villains aren't particularly interesting, and their motivations are rather boring. It always sounds like the characters know why the villains are threat and should be feared, but it's not conveyed to the audience well. I'm not a big fan of most of the characters too, not really sure why. Plus, they throw around all these terms, and there's a lot to keep track of. Plus the character titles of so bad they make me cringe. ("Chanter of Elegies", "Specialist of Everything", "1000 Changes") It's all so bad.

I'll keep watching it though. It's a long series. Maybe I had too high of expectations going into this series. I thought it was going to be this super great/awesome series. But it's just ok so far.
