Do/Would you still watch an anime title after it has been spoiled for you?

I was wondering if anime spoilers bother you or is it something you can just ignore? Anime titles have been spoiled for me numerous times with reviews with no warning (Slam Dunk, LotGH, BECK) or something I accidentally discovered myself (Naruto) and sometimes I don't even feel like watching the title anymore. Although sometimes I'll give a title a chance. Do you feel the same?

If something is spoiled for you, is it something you don't care about or if it does bother you, how do you forget about it and move on on or do you give up on watching the title all together?

I voted for :Yes it bothers me but I still watch
but it depends on you really like I answered before. Anybody would be turned of by knowing the ending of an anime, but at the same time, it sort of makes it exciting! You may know the ending, but you don't know how it got to that point?

I don't care about spoilers, I'll still watch the anime/read the manga. Some times I even spoil it for myself because I want to know if a character I like lives or not.

Yes, but I get very salty after being spoiled. It's happen to me numerous times and I get so pissed. Though it also depends what is being spoiled - if it's a character death then I get extremely salty.

Nope. I got spoiled the School Days ending and that's way I never watched it.
To this day, I still haven't finished Oreimo because I already know how it ends. :(

When I really like something, I feel like I can't wait and I go read up spoilers myself. So, no it doesn't really matter.

It bothers me but it doesn't keep me from watching something. I watched Katanagatari and Madoka while knowing a few major spoilers and still enjoyed them.

On the other hand, spoilers have kept me from watching stuff before. Like with Oreimo. I'll probably watch it and ignore the ending if possible.

I knew about the nice boat, but I didn't see the events that lead up to the nice boat.

So in other words, spoilers don't bother me. As long as the journey to the ending isn't completely spoiled, I'd still be interested in watching something even if I know how it ends.

Yes. Even if an anime gets spoiled, I won't get the full impact of it unless I watch it myself. But I still hate spoilers though.

Yes it bothers me when someone spoils something for me, but not enough where I would not watch a show or stop watching it. It will simply sit on my PTW list for awhile if I hadn't started it yet, like Death Note.

I can still enjoy anime despite having them spoiled beforehand. To me it's the experience, first and foremost, that determines whether it was worth watching or not. Even if I'm spoiled I may not know how the events unfold or how the story progresses, so I will probably end up being surprised anyway because things didn't turn out the way I expected them to.

A consequence of being on the internet all the time is that you see spoilers constantly. If I was still bothered by spoilers then I would not have watched half the anime I have now.

I purposely look for spoilers and if the anime is still very good, I instantly give it a ten.

I'd just wait a while until I forget the spoilers. Although, after that much time, I'd forget to watch that anime and it'd end up in my backlog again.

If it's a show that I really wanted to watch, I'll still watch it regardless of spoilers. Spoilers do suck, but they don't ruin a good show. If they do, the show probably wasn't very good in the first place having to rely on said spoilers to be "good".

Depends on the spoiler itself and the type of series. If it was something about Infinite Stratos then I wouldn't mind But if it was a series like Another or Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica I would drop the series since the fun of watching it is slowly finding out the truth about everything.

It depends really.

I watched Death Note despite having the main point spoiled for me. I pushed through because the quality of the series overwrote that problem as I still really enjoyed it.

However I watched Kobato's first episode then when I clicked to watch the second episode on my streaming site, it turned out it was the last episode and I had inadvertantly spoiled nearly the whole series. On that instance I dropped it simply because the first episode never gripped me enough anyway.

actaully i'd prefered being spoiled ,especially when it has romance in it, cause i'd want to know if my pairing end up together or not

Well, I was spoiled about Death Note, Code Geass, School Days ( even though the spoil was the reason I watched it ) and more, yet I watched all of them without being bothered really. 80% of the anime have such a textbook plot that getting spoiled isn't even a problema anymore.

I hate spoilers but it doesn't keep me from watching a show.

One of the reason is because no one has really spoiled any anime for me (luckily!). But my friend has spoiled GoT countless times for me but I still watch it (not anime related but i thought I would share it just as an example).

If the spoiler reveals something I'm fine with, sure, I'll still watch it. But often the spoiler is a "they never really get together" for a romance anime, and then I won't even give the anime a chance, unless a friend really recced it. These days I'd rather read the manga.

To answer the question: yes it bothers me a lot. Sometimes to a point that I will drop it entirely.

I got spoiled twice for gurren lagann and a minor spoil for FMAB. I still watched them though, because when I get spoilers for something, I try to get the mindset that I don't know how it happens, I just know it happens. So I still get the excitement of seeing what leads up to it happening.

I've been spoiled countless times for Naruto but I've still enjoyed the show. Same with HxH. If anything spoilers only get me more interested in the show unless the whole story is spoiled ofcourse...thankfully that has never happend to me.

Wow this post is a spoiler in itself.

OT: I put it on hold then watch it when I feel like it.

I got spoiled for LOTGH about
but it added a lot of suspense in certain moments
. It was so blatantly foreshadowed too. Also in something like Clannad, it is so obvious what is going to happen. My friend spoiled most of the AOT manga for me, that doesn't mean I'm not going to love the second season. For me, it is more about the journey rather than the destination.

Anime is good, fucking deal with it.

I recently got spoiled numerous times. Viewing their "Anime review" had a high risk of being spoiled without knowing. They probably don't know the system of "spoiler" or perhaps because they are too excited about their review they've forgotten to write the "spoiler alert" to notice the readers.

Sometimes, I don't mind the spoilers but if the whole story got spoiled. Then I'd rather listen to their story rather than watching anime itself. While on the other hand, if some of the content of the story is spoiled but not too tense I'd still watch it. However, the percent of me getting excited will decrease. And the expectation of that part would prevail knowingly the story.

Watching something unspoilered is more fun, but it's not a necessity for me.
I watched Madoka completely spoilered and still loved it.

Of course. And it doesn't bother me much. To be honest, most of series that I watched have been spoiled to me. Maybe because I watch much AMVs, like anime mix, and they can show much epic, important scenes there...Also scrolling just some new things on facebook can give you so much spoilers...I think I get used to it, and it's still great to watch it and see what exactly happend there. It's probably better not to know after all and it probably gives much more fun, but let's say, spoiling doesn't kill all fun, though of course it is not a good thing xD And sometimes I'm just too curious, so I want to see spoilers by myself, so >.< I know I shouldn't do that, but I can't help it...But at least I know what I can see in this anime, I'm not like I start watching and it's like 'wtf' xD

No, I get spoiled about anime's I'm currently watching all the time, especially the longer ones. It hypes me up more to get up to the part and see it. :3 I rarely look things up on my own to spoil myself about characters/story though, it ends up my friends asking me if they can talk about things that happened and I usually just say yes LOL

Spoilers rarely have a negative impact on me, if anything it makes me anticipate seeing what happens & how it happens.
