You know how the harnessed isn't affected by magic? Then how come Kotori's teleport/switch magic works on magic users (cause the harnessed is teleported along with the magic user)

For those who read/watched Index, it's similar to how Touma's imagine breaker in his right hand prevents Kuroko's teleport working on him.

I have to agree with this. It's one of plot holes you can find in this anime. I don't even understand why the harness is magic immune in the first place. There's no further mention or involvement on it in the future both in the manga and anime.

The harness has to be magic immune, or else the witches could just use magic to make an opponent hang up (or just simply eject and die). It's something the author just pulled out of his ass to make up a reason why the witches can't do this, and then I don't think he thought through any other ramifications of it afterwards.

Its not really the harness that is immune to magic... Its the one living in the harness that is immune to magic

No really explanation on how Kotori's magic can affect even the Harness but I'm guessing it's because of the one living in Kotori's Harness... was it called drasil? I don't really remember

This is a good question, it's most likely a plot hole.

The magic is being used on the witch, not the harness.
Looking for a character or a certain Anime/Manga?
Looking for recommendations?

Read the manga, she is an especial case.
Spoilers for the next arc btw (since they skipped an important one entirely on episode 10)^

I've read the manga and reread it. You proved no point.

Kotori is a special case and this COULD be the reason but its never stated that this IS the reason.

hmmm, I don't really know is this can be considered a plot hole =/
Is not like the harnessed suffers any damage or something like that from Kotori's teleports

They did mention that the harness is immune to magic, not immune to damage.

If the harnessed does not teleport along with the witch then she would die ._.

How can I say it...
, so this is not actually a plothole at all.
Is most like her corpse teleports together with it. This would also apply to everyone's powers too, since they need the harnesseds
to control them (and for actually HAVE them).

Otherwise, that would be a paradox, where their own power could not even leave their bodies because of the immunity.

I mean damage from magic
My idea in first place is that the magic come from the harness, so that immunity is not that it can't be effected in any way by magic, just can't be damaged by it
Otherwise the magic would dissipate even before it could be used =/

So yeah... it's not a plot hole

It's just one, of a lot of plot holes in this, don't bother. A better question would be what's Chisato body made of, "IF U KNOW WHAT I MEAN"(ep 12)
