That's a shame that it spoiled it for you, but you should watch the episode before checking the episode specific discussion post. Most people use the episode discussion post to... you know... discuss the episode. :P

This episode went sentimental, and I like that. I still mourn over Hughes's death. And Winry is on path lead by her hearth, but I'm wondering what lies at it's end =/ .

definitely sad way to know your parents died like that.

so the "man" Riza wants to protect is Mustang himself??

so Scar now wants the Philosopher's stone to finally let Ishbal have some peace after the war??

so im guessing Ed and Al will learn the "Great Art" in the near future?

seeing Hughes deaths once again is tragic :(

o no i think Winry is about to do something dramatically and drastically stupid now she found all of this out.

wondering what Envy meant with they will give up hope if they find out the truth behind the ishenbals or how ever you spell it.

Wait, how does Winry know that Mustang killed her parents? When did we find out that Mustang killed her parents? I must have unfortunately missed something.

When she was with Rick and Leo, they were telling her that their mom helped out at the hospital a lot and that she knew the Rockbells who also worked with sick people. They said their mom talked about the Rockbells a lot and that she was sad when they died. She also told Rick and Leo that it was an alchemist who uses flames that killed them.

In addition to what Blackfox said, WE found out that Mustang killed her parents a while back when they did a flashback to what happened at Ishbal. Mustang had been given the order to kill the two doctors, and we saw him standing over their bodies, crying and upset about what he had done, and there was broken picture frame that had a little girl with blonde hair. We soon found out that the doctors' names were Rockbell.

This was an okay episode. Winry finding out about her parents was a big blow, then her finding about Hughes's death and how much he loved and supported Mustang, who killed her parents. Complicated stuff.

I sure would like to find out more about Hawkeye at some point. Like who it is she mentioned that she needs to protect.

Episode unappetizing at times, but the plot remains nevertheless interesting and not stopped moving forward. Sooner or later the truth will out, this is an absolute truth, let's see what happens now. From what has been mentioned, it is about to unleash hell.

WAIT! I just remembered how earlier in the show we found out that the Homunculi introduced a disease into a village to make a guy try to make a philosopher's stone. What if they also made a disease for Ed's and Al's mum so that they would try to make a philosopher's stone?!

Oh ... my ... god O.O
Would make sense since Edward and AL werent the first one to try human transmutation, therefore homonculi already existing.

Feel sad for Winry, she had her mind set on killing Mustang and now she finds out about Hughes being dead, the man who completely supported Mustang and was his best friend.

I'm not a big fan of this series so far, but I do like the confusing mess of politics and war. It's so strange that Hughes is such a cool guy, as well as Hawkeye, and yet they have both supported Mustang who killed Winnrey's parents. She must feel shitty and confused, because a guy that she feels the need to hate is seriously loved by good people. Pretty crazy.

This one had good and bad parts but overall decent. Ed and Al seem to get closer to discovering the secrets behind Ishbal. Of course the homunculi are trailing close behind. Still curious how they always know what happened right away...

That's a pretty disturbing question. But why would they target two little kids? Unless there is something special about them...maybe Hohenheim was very powerful and they thought that his kids would be too. That would be a sick long-term plan on their end...
