Ooh, the Q series are making a comeback in the ranking more and more week after week. Now there's three old volume on top of that new one.... Which just took the top spot to boot.
NGNL is doing well thanks to the anime.

All volumes selling over 10K a week is way better than not bad, it's a great anime boost.

And Kimi to Boku...

Great to see Yuyushiki rank for the first time a year after the manga came out.

All these shoujo and josei manga need an adaptation :)

Hoozuki going strong.
Terraformars will break 500 K in 2 or 3 weeks.

The anime has certainly done its job of advertising the manga well. The BD/DVD sales look to be heading towards KuroBas level (due to a most likely sizeable storefront sales effect at Animate) for Vol.1/2 due to the event tickets bundled with them, but from volume 3 and onwards it'll sell marginally lower. Perhaps it can take #2 for the season (behind Love Live! of course, and counting Hanamonogatari as a Special) from JoJo, if it doesn't drop too much from Vol.1/2.

I'll be real happy if it manages a 10k average. I dunno about number 2, but I think it can mange in the number 4 or 5 spot. Either way, it's probably going to sell pretty well.

Just as long as it sells enough for a second season though we'll be good. Also, I hope it sells a decent amount for Sentai as well cause I need more sports anime to be officially licensed. I know I'll be purchasing the Sentai release, but that's cause it's more important I support the series over here than import it seeing as past sports anime licenses have bombed completely. I refuse to let Haikyuu!! suffer the same fate as Oofuri and Prince of Tennis.

Didn't want to say great and then get told "100k overall is good/average not great."
I'm still a newbie to the whole sales thing :p

NGNL is doing great! Will be even higher on the yearly list at this rate.

It switched publishers so is listed twice. Would be higher if added together.

Oh so that's why it's listed twice o.o
That means it's around 400k!!
I don't know how good that is but compared to the others it's definitely great!!

Anime season 2 please.

Just keep selling, Magi and Terra Formars. Good times, good times, indeed.

Just like you, I'm not very familiar with the number to reach before being considered "decent sales"

So, if a light novel doesn't show up in this ranking for its first week, is it bad ?

It's normal.
Bestselling light novel volumes of the year/all time* (and more in the same club including weekly series ranks etc). <-- No longer being updated. Sorry.

I would really be interested in knowing why it was switched. MediaFactory is owned by Kadokawa so it was more an internal transfer than a switch, so I would love to know if there was a reason given. Would be an insight into how the publishers works.

It didn't switch publishers actually, it's still published by Media Factory. The reason why it's listed twice is supposedly related to Kadokawa merging 9 of its subsidiaries together, though why NGNL was the only one to have its sales split is everyone's guess...
The listed publisher changed. Whose mistake in two listings I do not know.
