| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lucky the cat was missing as I doubt the girl would've noticed the code! Still, one of the best episodes I've seen, it felt more like a Holmes story. (I've seen most the 6 Miyazaki ones, and two of those were pointless stories about Mrs Hudson. Moriaty's pretty vicious here, while in those he's a ditz). |

| Excellent episode: it shines both for the story and for the narrative construction, but also for the deductions made by the character of Holmes; without forgetting the action that is particularly good this time. A few moments remind me very much of the "Rupan Sansei" anime series. So far this is the best episode I've seen of this anime series. |

| The first episode directed by Miyazaki, and what a great perfect episode! Gorgeous artwork full of life and amazing details. An excellent script based on an interesting idea that has many details and interactive characters, especially the principled engineer and his cute daughter who misses her missing father, In addition to a large-scale forging work Which has badly damaged the country's economy. The animation is very cool and impressive, and Miyazaki's touch is clearly present, and of course his amazing ability to write and create action scenes, so yeah one of the most wonderful and great episodes I've ever seen that when I finished it felt like I watched a short film with a lot of energy |
