| Yeah, there are just enough episodes for the show to stop right before it would get to the (potentially) best material. That, or they will cram everything into the last couple of eps and it will turn out ridiculous. In other words, just like most of the 1-cour shows out there. |

| Good god, the manga is really gripping. Just caught up on it. Changing my guess that it will end showing all the other characters they did not show that are in the opening. |

Stark700 said: I'm prepared for an anime original ending tbh No way, if they were planning an original ending, they wouldn't have showed Hexenjagd, Valkyria and Hatsuna, it's very unlikely that they can develop their characters during the few episodes left and they cannot just drop them either, so I guess they'll stick to the manga. We're just going to have an super weird cliffhanger like SnK's (or no cliffhanger at all). I bet on the scene happening in the observatory where , this way they'll have introduced everyone and I think they will stop the first season with Telling these 30 chapters during 4 episodes is possible if they don't waste time with the beach part and if they skip everything related to Yuki. Anyway, we'll see tomorrow if they continue following the manga or not as Mizuka isn't in the opening and that's when she's supposed to show up. |

Also what you mentioned about SnK is an anime original ending + cliffhanger altogether so that's the assumption I'm going with including this season's finale. Telling 30 chapters during 4 episodes would be a super rush and wouldn't work right. |

| probably agree with those stating about big cliffhangers...but the question is where? which part will they decide to end it?... I can only imagine, creating a big cliffhanger, while waiting for enough materials for Season 2... or THEY END IT LIKE the first season of Fate/Zero...(which is....I'm gonna have a mixed-feelings of being pissed and excitement) |

There are already more than enough materials for Season 2... this could have been a 2-cour right from the beginning. The only issue is whether they think they can profit from another season or not. |
