| "DATE!? F*CK YES!!!" -by araragi koyomi...!! Araragi .. I feel for you man... getting excited.. even imaging it like a dream .. turns out a memory out of anger or hate lol!! (and... NO IT DIDN'T became like that !! ) The Car is so Funny as ever!!! Damn hitagi got some moves!! I am beginning to join the feel trip now... Dem Feels much on Hitagi's father and araragi conversation scene. A Father's love.. (almost cried !!) Stargazing is really is Good .. staring at the sky night .. Stars that shines so bright!! The OST is making me cry!! "A Day to Remember... for both of us" - araragi to hitagi :) What a remarkable love they have :D Romance in the air!! Tears of joy I think.. because This Episode made my day :D Pretty Good Ending!!! Really Great Episode!!! Note : The Opening song is just so good as ever!! I couldn't say more for the ending song because It was really good to hear it too!!! Hitagi was really kawaii in this episode!!! |

| Just re-watched this episode, since the last time I rewatched this was over 6 months ago. I'm glad it's still as good as I remember. Best anime episode imo too. The amusing car scene the touching confession from Senjougahara, everything is just awesome. tsudecimo said: I'm in love with the relationship between Araragi and Hitagi <3 I rewatched it the most out of all the episodes 1000/5 and i'm gonna keep rewatching it as long as i'm alive. | Wowowowow, It was totally unexpected! Most beautiful first date which I can imagine. I'm glad that I gave second chance fot this show. Senjougahara is amazing. |

| Wow, this was really great. That car ride, those dialogues, that sky... I love it how they couldn't express their feelings in the car, but under those beautyful stars,they didn't hesitate a second, great writting! Senjougahara is trully a unique character, switching between tsundere,yandere and deredere so fast, now i can see why this is rated so high, while i'm still not connected to the characters, they are really...'different' Still no progress with Tsubasa's issue this ep. but that doesn't bother me, Senjougahara is back, and triumphantily. This episode is one to be remembered,good job Shaft. 6/5 |

| This episode alone gives this series 10/10. Although, yeah, I'm just as annoyed as the rest of you that the kiss (or perhaps more?) was omitted. |

| I'm really happy I decided to pick this series up now if not just for this episode alone. This will probably go down in my list as one of the best episodes of any series I have ever seen before. Everything about it was perfect. I can see the hype behind the series. |

| Just rewatched this beautiful piece of work. It remains arguably the most romantic episode of anime I have ever watched. And to think it was led by a female lead... absolutely phenomenal stuff. |

I was cringing hard with second-hand embarrassment from that car ride. I liked the character development between Araragi and Mr. Senjougahara. It was also nice to see the character development from Senjougahara because we got a look at how she is when she isn't trying to fuck with Araragi 24/7, when she is being really nice. Overall great episode, this series just gets better and better with each progressing episode. |

| With all the ecchi and harem in the previous episodes, I'm really surprised by how well it was able to shift gears and show some really beautiful and touching moments. Well done. |

| Loved how everyone eventually turned rutally honest this episode. Also, it says a lot knowing that it was his date with Senjougahara, Araragi was so excited to go to last episode. |

| I was kinda missing her. Senjougahara was such a tease. She played so dirty with her hands in the car... I loved that. Beautiful scene towards the end. |
| Oh man ... I actually thought that it wasn't the father but just some kind of hired driver for the occasion ... But hey apparently it's pretty normal to have your father with you on the way of your first date :D and especially if you do some echi stuff JUST in front of him /o/ |
| What a great episode. The talk with the father was emotional and the balls breaking discussion in the car was insanely funny. All ended with the starry sky romantic time that was very enjoyable. I really like the way Hitagi is and acts towards Araragi...she will never let him become bored with her :D |
| Wonderful episode, putting Araragi and Senjougahara's relationship back into the centre of the show. Much beter than previous episodes, though it seems out of place in the middle of Hanekawa's arc. |

| First I wanted to write here how Senjogahara is so bothersome as girlfriend to the point of being unpleasant. But then second part of this ep kicked and I realized that she is just using that as shield for her uncertainity and fear. Those conversations in the car were just brilliant. Talk with her father was just great. Movements of her hand too. And it was kinda funny how she was annoyed when Koyomi started talking about Hanekawa. Her seducing attempt when she was trying to be more attractive than her was indeed very erotic. Their conversation under the starry sky with mentioning of those constallations was very touching, she gave him part of herself in showing him the place. And the fade out before actual kiss was good I guess as it left everything to our imagination. Speaking of Hanekawa, there were also some hints - I bet her parents are so strict with her that every failed test is hell for her - or she just wants to be a good girl having such good grades. I still think she loves Araragi and is dependent on him and that's why we were given this episode to show the contrast later. |
| Altair. Deneb. Vega. Can I share this starry night with you? Ep 12. Plot: Araragi gets his first ever date with Senjougahara. Being Senjougahara, it's a bit of a heavy thing at first but in the end, it was wonderful. Hitagi is happy to have him in her life and they both love each other. CHaracter: Hitagi shines here as her character is as we know her. She is a bit sadistic and might be hard to get along with but that hides an insecure girl that has been hurt in the past. Her feelings for Araragi are the genuine article, not only from him saving her as a prince as she said, but just by being him. Oh and she is definitely playful in her sadism. Koyomi in turn, is led around a bit from her personality but he loves her as well. He loves her as she is, even if he might be scared of her. Senjougahara's father is probably where she gets her blunt side. He's the most terrifying father ever and probably the best version we've seen. ...WHat's Koyomi's father like? Animation/sound: It was kept quite minimal this time since most of the ep is spent in a car but the interaction is what Bakemonogatari is about and it shines here. But the end is the best part. The starry night, the ED Kimi no shiranai Monogatari, wonderfully comes in as the two kiss despite the audience not seeing it. And strangely enough, that's fine. We don't need to see. We know. 5/5. The standout ep in terms of Senjougahara and Araragi's romance. Just wonderful. |
