It was an okay ending. I'm just left confused with these last few episodes especially since episodes 21 & 22 were so good and thought it was going in a great direction. There needs to be a Season 2, I feel like there's so much that was unanswered and needs to be continued. I really liked the characters, some of the episodes were just okay and slightly boring but then it definitely had it's highlights, I really enjoyed the Cheshire Cat's and Break's backstory arcs . It's a 7/10 for me.

Well this was awful. Pretty much the type of ending all manga fans should dread, y'know, the ones that don't really resolve much but play too much with the manga canon to ever get a second season? Given that reboots are out of the question for most adaptations, this is likely all we'll ever get.

If they really wanted to go this route, why didn't they devote the last 3 episodes to Oz and his conflict with his dad? Shoving it to the tail end of this episode and having Gryphon one-shotted was LAME AS FUCK.

Oh well, the music was still wonderful this episode. The piece for the last few scenes in particular was one of my favorites.

was going to deal out 6 out of 10 if this ending at least entertained in the slightest but that didn't happen

5/10

Well its good to know I wasn't the only one thinking that this anime NEEDS a second season, like mentioned above how in the world did Oz not see that gigantic Griffon poster hangingright behind him, how'd he even sit down without glancing even once. I'm suprised the anime was just left open like this. What will become of Alice's sister- Will of the Abyss, did she still want Oz? What does Oz's dad look like? We didn't even see Oz's seal mark do a 360 turn gosh! This was actually a pretty decent anime concluded with a less than justifying ending.

This final episode really did feel rushed :/

Overall it was a decent anime. OST was great. Characters were cool. Stry was good but felt like there were way too many loose ends.

This anime had a pretty crazy amount of tonal shifts lol

Overall a 7/10. Now to go read the manga!

Hmmmm... really nice anime. Judging from the pacing and events, I predicted this type of ending so meh.

I guess I'll still give it a 9/10. I did enjoy it much and the comedy scenes were glorious :)

Its incomplete for me because there are some aspects left unattended. Season 2 should be done to close the series. But the series was okay for me and i liked the story and the characters.

Lots of people give this ending shit, but I actually was okay with, even liked it. Despite being original, I dont think that in anyway, it rejects the manga continuation.

I was just using the anime to get introducted to the manga itself, and I will read it from 0. So from my point of view this was a pleasant temporary goodbye, till I get far enough on the manga to see the new stuff.

If there is one thing the anime did right, it is the characters, Alice being a favorite of mine, I love how the anime express itself, both for the comedy and for the mindfucks and more psychologically heavy scenes.
OST from the greatness that is Yuki Kajura contributed alot too.

OP and ED1 where great, but I gotten myself skipping ED2 alot.

I m giving this one a 8.6/10 since the animation is dated even for 2009, compare to stuff like Death Note, CG or TTGL, older but much much better, even Spice and Wolf looks better.
Also alot of stuff were still left to be answered, but thank god the manga is finished and seems to meet and surpass all and every expectations we had from the beggining.

Like everyone else, I'm also disappointed with the ending of this...It's been to rushed. I really wish there would be a second season since the anime had had potential...
But for now I just feel like the whole Sablier no higeki feels somehow like a huge MacGuffin to me.. Just to get the story going, since it's never really revealed what actually happened.. Too many unanswered questions..
Well I guess I'm off to read the manga..

This show was alright.

It had a lot of mystery that had you keep devouring episode but mid way between revealing Oz was the incarnation of Jack and the final 3 episodes it started to really seem boring. The ending was not all that great either.
overall 7/10
