this anime is quite surprising me
episodes are getting better and the characters evolving
this episode was much more sentimental and helped to understand some characters
but also took action and a good fight, I'm finding a good character Juugo
I hope the story only improves

Love troubles and the mainly way to deal with them, that's what this episode seemed like to me.
The action wasn't really needed tho it mostly added dramatic effect but it would have been nice without them as well i guess.
It was nice to see Yukihime's soft side for ones.
Something tells me Juugo might return to Matsuri at some point tho.

Kiraboshi~

I want JuugoxTensai! *.*

JuugoxYukihime is like big sister and younger brother ship
and I not really fan of ships like this,
but this is still better than human and ghost.

I kinda worried that this can end up like in other series,
where main guy pick dead chick,
where he can have one of nice, young and living girls...

Juugo is a potential sociopath or as his father said, someone who "can't love". The reason he left Matsuri is because he doesn't believe in its goals, he doesn't believe in helping people and he chose to leave everything behind regardless of how his family and close friends (Yukihime) might feel.

That, mixed with the fact that in multiple episodes Juugo is referred to as a selfish person, gives us a character who finds it impossible to care about someone else more than himself. It's not that he refuses to do so, he just can't do it.

When he talked with his father by phone, and he said "I have someone who I love" and then thought of Tensai, his father asked "What would you be willing to do for that person" - Juugo then did not answer because he recognized the fact that if it came down to it he'd willingly abandon Tensai. That's why Juugo is someone who "can't love", in all his life he hasn't met a person who he valued more than himself.

This is something he isn't comfortable with which is the cause of the animosity between him and his father, who bluntly points out and disapproves of that part of him. This is also the reason Juugo can't stand going back to Matsuri, seeing so many people willingly risk their lives to 'help people'.

In this episode we see Yukihime emphasizing the question "What am I to you?" that Juugo struggles to answer directly because he himself isn't sure. The answer he gives is vague but the best he can do. Then he goes on to say that while he promises to always be by her side, he can't guarantee he won't betray her.

Basically, Juugo realized that to him, no bond is unbreakable or invaluable. He doesn't like that part of himself and wants to change but doesn't know how to.

So far, Nanana-chan appears to be the first exception, or maybe Juugo hopes that by risking his life and helping her he might come across the 'change' he had been looking for.
"Rejoice! We are humans— we are the most talented people! Precisely because we were born without any ability— we can achieve anything— this is the will of the weakest race!" – Sora, ‘No game No life Vol.01’

He won't betray Nanana because Nanana isn't a live person :D

Juugo's character however flawed as it may be, will still keep and promises that he makes to people. Which is exactly why he will never make many guarantees recklessly. He knows if he made useless promises and didn't follow through with it, it would mess up his principles. Does that make him selfish? Yes, but indecisive? Not really.

I get the feeling that he has a plan of things that he wants to do, and is following his own path to doing them. As for not succeeding his father in Matsuri, well... do we really know that their organization is really collecting/stealing the Nanana collection for the good of the world? I mean flashback aside, has there really been any instance that any one party has been fully upfront about their intentions?

I get the feeling that the characters thus far have not been truly fleshed out yet. That is to say we don't know any of their motivations for collecting/stealing the Nanana collection. The only certainty we have is that Juugo wants to help Nanana find out who her killer is, and it seems no other part of the entire story is set in stone.

Very enjoying episode, interesting to see Juugo and Yukihime relationship.
MC & Tensai should just be a villains already, they're doing a good job. ┐(´ー`)┌

Pretty good episode ... so Juugo got the treasure after all eh :P Tensai's always just going into his place ... with not just one copy of his key, but two or possibly more XD
He talks and battles it out with Yukihime eh ... I quite like their relationship actually :P Seems like that got sorted out ... when she said she had a boyfriend I thought she was referring to the guy she was talking to after their fight (I forget his name >_<) but I guess she was just lying. His first love ... idk man, I think I'd ship that XD
Loads of chara development it seems. I can get why Juugo and Yukihime were angry with each other ... and the other Matsuri guy seems a bit different too from what I expect. He probably has his own goals ... still, not too much on the Nanana front :S

Meh a surprisingly bland episode. I'm all for feelz and stuff but I could have made Swiss cheese out of all those lines that he spewed.

Besides, it irks me that he spent all that planning to get a Nanana Collection only to give it to someone for reconciliation. All that potential to do copious amounts of ecchi things - lost.

Plot that delves into the relationship between Juugo and Yukihime, not bad considering that almost no one knew anything.
Pleasant also the fact that Tensai had understood the trap and had not been fooled by the liar Juugo.
Pleasant also the overall narrative.
Drawings and animations that good, but I augur that in the next episode is more adrenaline
The characters are not bad, but they have to interact more in the narrative.

If we're talking shipping I think Nanana is out of the question because she's a ghost and it would never work out.

I'm shipping Yukihime and Juugo now but if Tensai wins i'll be fine with that also.

Haha, Juugo finally beat Tensai. She's a pretty good sport about it too.

Juugo knows how to play it up. I really wanted to see him motorboat Nanana, hahaha.

When he was fighting Yukihime and used the chains, his face. Hahaha, so lewd. Like wow, those lines could be ripped straight from a hentai.

D'aww Yukihime is actually quite kind and sweet to Juugo underneath her icy demeanor. Glad to see they made up.

Yukihime is sooooo cute.. look at her blush. That lover's quarrel and fight was great. XD
Alright I'm aboard the nee-chan route.. I like Tensei too but Yukinee-chan is the best girl for me.
For now we still don't know Juugo's true reason for leaving or maybe he don't understand his own ideals as well.
So he did went in and stole the nanana's treasure beforehand.. well done this time around.
In your ass baka president. Btw too bad no snuggling onto Nanana's chest. :b

Damn Juugo. Way to get a head. But honestly, how is finding her treasures THEN GIVING THEM AWAY gonna help him find her killer.
And i guess we will find out why he gave up his dream of helping everyone some time soon.
I love Nanana. Shes just too cute.

So, romance eh?! And I thought this show was all about everyone betrays everyone and in the end it was all planned by everyone, except the really real bad guy we first get to see in the last episode.
But I guess that romantic "will-they-won't-they" tension I saw between Sherlock & the MC and the male-maid & Sherlock and the childhood-friend & the MC and the lewd-one & the president was not just a bunch I had then. I bet if you draw it out you get a pentagram...
