@PTDesu Your first one kinda lacks effects, but it has really nice depth. I like your second one though, not sure what you used, pen tool or brushes, but it's a really nice effect.
@silver 2k9: Lol, this was a pretty good attempt, but there's a few issues with it. The big blue thing on the right doesn't blend with the render at all. You have to either add effects onto the render, do some adjustment layers, etc, to make it look like the render belongs there, instead of just being pasted on top. I see you used the brush for flow, that's good, but like I said, it doesn't blend too well. For some reason, you have a black space between the blue and the render...not sure what that's for but it doesn't feel right. As for text, putting text in the corner isn't usually the best way to go, try putting it closer to the render.

With everyone posting their shiny gfx I thought it wouldn't hurt to link my first and last (failed) attempt to make a "traditional" gfx. The original image had terrible quality so the bubbles are mostly there to hide the flaws and pixelated areas.

I'm on Nyufi's side though as I prefer making a sig out of 3-4 different images than just smudging a render on a solid bg, though the fact that i suck at the latter might be a factor in that.

That said I would like to learn the ways of trad. gfx too. I really like LuckySky's works and it's obvious that -Shio knows what he's doing ^^

So many great sigs here *-*
Well... i only have done 2 sigs so far, so i'm kinda noob ^^"

this one is actually my sig everywhere ^^

@Kvakond - I really like your gfx... and the bubbles fit well =3 I love the colors too, but maybe a bit of red and blue would be better (just my opinion =x) ^^

@AniiFreakk: You may want to make the canvas a bit smaller, there's a lot of space without any point, it makes the sig look kinda empty. You're using flow though, so that's good. I'd like it if you started adding lighting and shadows for added depth

@Kvakond: The effects and flow are all really nice, but the sig is way too big for its own good. There's lots of negative space taken up by huge text, which seriously distracts from the focal. It would also be better to work with more than one color for the b/g, only pink gets kinda boring lol...And your bubbles fit well :P

@SamiOwari: If this sig was smaller, it would be awesome. Your brushwork and effects are really nice. Try getting a more interesting b/g though, it's too dark. And work on adding lighting and depth.

Sometimes, big canvases don't look too good though, if you make a big one, it's gotta have a lot of effects to fill the space.

@Silver2k9 Pretty nice for a freestyle. You got the flow and effects right in this one. I'd say that still don't have any lighting in your sigs though, it's pretty easy to do actually, create a new layer and then use a big white soft brush and brush where you want the light to be. Also, work on depth, sharpen the focal and blur parts that are in the b/g. One thing that I don't like though is how that blue line stands out too much...It doesn't blend too well. As well as the colors all over the render, the blue fits but the red is just...meh. Also, try blending the render into the sig more, so it looks as if it belongs.

Well, it seems you don't have many effects in this one. It looks like a render with a stock. The line isn't as distracting anymore. Your lighting however, is weird because it doesn't go onto the render, so it doesn't blend well at all. For some reason though, your render has a glow on the outside, makes it look....eh....
So yeah, lack of effects and depth, you got a little flow going on, but try and make it more noticable.

What do you mean make a render with a c4d? I f you mean cut it out, you shouldn't need to, they should come with either transparent b/gs or black.

Hah, well I have the same problem. c4d placement is one of the hardest things to do well. The best way to go about it is choose one with similar colors and rotate+resize it until it looks good. Having a big selection is also nice.

@PTDesu: Great job, looks nice.
@AniiFreak: The first one is still kinda dark though...The second one has effects but the flow is just everywhere. Third one is fine, work on adding depth though...
@Silver2k9 Aha it's fine if you don't follow a tut, in fact it's probably not good to exactly because that means yuo have no creativity. As for the sig though, everything's really nice, except for the little line over the render, that throws the flow off. And add lighting.

@Lucysky: Looks anything but plain, love the brushwork. My only complaint would be that the render is kind of messy looking with all the brushes on top, otherwise: great :D
@Sixflags: Really nice as well, loving the border, kinda think the white behind the render takes away from depth though
@AnimeGURU: Well, for a beginner, it's not bad, you could do a lot worse. I'd work on fixing canvas size, this is way too big, and you attempted to filll the space using text, never a good idea. The text itself is too strong and draws attention away from the focal. The C4Ds you used are adding flow which is nice, you also got your light sorc there, so another plus. The whole thing overall is too dark, imo.
