| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Good episode. The match itself had people cheering including myself. At this rate, I definitely think Eijun's team has a chance of winning. Some of the pitches really hit the mark there. I am pretty damn proud how far these guys have come so far. Man tears were shed ;_; Grats Seido! A very deserved victory. |

| Haruichi's stretching totally reminds me of Ichiro Suzuki of the Yankees. Hehe, he is so cute blushing while pumping his fist in the air. But wait, best of 8 already? Was there a skip? It seems that they only played a few games. Or maybe I was just not paying much attention. |
| When the small crowd cheered for the losing team. I felt the impact around Shun. When Haruichi opened his eyes... I knew he would make an awesome hit, I forgot that he uses a wooden bat. Ryousuke's jumping bunt was quite awesome to watch. Watching Sawamura pitching was fun, he did really well that even the management complimented him xD. Great episode, really glad they won with a safe distance. |

| This episode just reminded me why this anime is so great. None of that nonsense "I MUST HIT THE BALL AND ADVANCE SHUN TO HOME!" and then suddenly hitting a home run (i.e. Major). After all, dashed dreams of Koshien and manly tears is what Japanese high school baseball's REALLY about. |

| Great episode, very emotional. Really wanted to root for the underdogs. Usually it's the main team in sports anime. But, they are really a powerhouse. |

| Haha everyone yells at Eijun and wonders why he is only good at bunting. Even Kuramochi is kinda jelly at Eijun's bunting skills :D And it's Haruichi's time to shine! I love the Kominato brothers' relationship. At the very beginning, it seemed like Ryousuke didn't care a lot about Haruichi, but that's totally not the case. It's a little complicated, but Ryousuke definitely respects Haruichi's skills and it makes Haruichi happy too that his older brother practiced with him, as well as telling him that he shouldn't just babysit Eijun at the bench (lol) but also get ready to bat at any time. Lastly...I shed a few tears for Shun. Although I'm glad that Seidou won, it's still heartbreaking to see that Shun won't ever play on the team again, and he's not even a third year. But even so, it was nice to see that he was touched (well that and also sad) when he heard the crowd cheer for his team. Shun's one of my favorite rival team character (along with Mei :P). |

| Harucchi shyly doing a fist pump while blushing. So cute, dammit. Sudden break of the tie by a LANDSLIDE. Amazing. That was well played with high tension and excellent teamwork. Bunt master! Woot, hopefully we get to see more of this useful Sawamura, otherwise I'd feel like he hasn't received much development. Series that make you feel for the other team. They're the enemy but you can't help but support them. Good sports. Truly. Only 22 more episodes. QQ |

| I know Shun has to go back to Taiwan and all but I wonder if he'll change his mind and actually transfer to Akikawa or go to another school in Japan, one where the team is much better but I doubt he'll change schools, I think he will just transfer to Akikawa because he loves it there. Good episode, I thought they would have wrapped up the episode sooner. What match did they miss from the manga? |

| Friggin loved it :D Really glad to see that Eijun didn't give up a single pitch! Like a BOSS!! Also him being called a bunt master XD I didn't know he was that good at bunting lol I LMAO'd at "Don't get cocky Sawamura!" hahahaha Haru was really great this ep! DAT OPEN EYE!!! He looked super cool when he hit that bitch from the inside. And his shy pumped fist was cute :) Nice seeing Eijun and Furuya clapping for him when he came back and his brother really does respect him ^^ That jumping hit was awesome too :D Kuromachi's speed never ceases to impress hehe. Really felt bad for Shun T_T Everyone thinks he'll have another year. Such a wide gap the match ended with though :O |

| Man that comeback was fierce, especially when whats-his-face went full throttle from third when Akikawa thought that 3rd point was the end of it. Respect to Shunshin, he's an interesting pitcher and probably my favorite non-Seido player so far. |

| Its official. Harucchi is my favorite character now. <3 <3 And I like the fact that he's a pinch hitter. Its like when all hope is gone, Harucchi will definitely turn the the tables. Seido sure has very reliable first years (I do hope Sawamura will prove his worth in the future); its kinda annoying how he's so noisy all the time though. D: |

| I feel like I should watch 1 episode per month, because watching 2 in a row is somewhat boring, still. I heard it gets a lot better after the training phase of the story, I hope this isn't what people meant. Although it was sad, the cheering for Chunchin's team at the end was cheesy. Sawamura is still as annoying as ever, characters are as boring as ever, and do the same thing for the whole span of 30 episodes. Harucchi was cute when he got onto the base and cheered, but that's all. Miyuki had potential, but noticed he's pretty much just saying the same thing differently every time he speaks. |
