The total sales for the Light Novel 'No Game No Life' has been slightly modified to match the total sales of the volumes since it first joined the ranking. This is due to Oricon resetting the total sales of the volumes after Media Factory merged with Kadokawa Corporation.
Hopefully, we did it correctly as well.

Magi and Kingdom in the top 10 nice. I hope the latter gets a third season soon or at least in the future.

I'm curious to see how far NGNL will go with the season airing right now.

Great to see these up there.

Also impressed with the continued boosts for Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei and No Game No Life, going to be very interesting to see their totals once their respective anime runs end. Also good to see Henneko, SAO, Tokyo Ravens and Oregairu up there. Really need to start Infinite Stratos.

Blade Dance sell 27k for first week is good. Hope it will reach 50k before out from the list. And just in case for those who don't know BT have translating volume 13 up to chapter 3. Thing have been good so far in this arc.

Anyway next week hopefully Psycome will sell well too.

Hidan no Aria is THAT good? I think I read it up to 2nd volume and dropped it. Just wondering if it actually become better as it progress.

NGNL is performing worse than I imagine... maybe it'll get better later on.

My friends said it's much better after vol. 5 but became quite dragged around vol. 13 or so.

The anime version sucks. What did you expect?

Visually, it does. Kingdom had been suffering with poorly-rendered CG, particularly during every major battle sequences. And the CG during first 10 episodes of first season was flat out terrible (which sadly had repelled away lots of its potential viewership). but it was produced with NHK budget, so it's something that we can't complain about.

But you know, you'd have to kill me first before claiming that Kingdom sucks at plot and character developments. It's one of the best epic historical manga i've ever read. And if you actually watched second season, it had very, very engaging drama full of plot twists that had me on the edge of my seat most the time.

Oh, and while the first season had very rough start and honestly i didn't really get into it, once you can get past that (particularly eps 18), you'd be treated with something special.

Besides, i feel a slight disconnect here. Zee530 initial post was initially talking about the manga, but you suddenly went ahead and claim the anime suck. Weird

No not at all. I've only read 2 volumes of the manga and it's a good manga. I need to read more though, Since everyone has been saying how of a masterpiece it's.

He did mention that there is still no mention of season 3? Isn't that the anime version, or does the manga have seasons? Well I'll only be reading the manga version because the anime version sucks ass.

I was thinking the same thing. For a light novel, ~ 55.000 copies sold per volume on average is very good.

Yes, i mentioned this because the manga is way ahead of the anime that they could probably make 2 more seasons with it without adding a second of filler. If you can get past the CG, the anime is great, everything great about the manga is well represented there i'm sure.

Me too and there is almost enough material now but not quite and also not really a good place to stop right now. One or two more volumes should do it in time for a winter 2015 two cour third season.

First two seasons used 17 volumes and we now have 7 more so as I said, two more should do it.

Infinite Stratos 9 sold 45% less than volume 8 did in the same number of days. Sure, volume 8 had a LE as well, but still... Even the RE alone sold about 20% more than this volume did in the same number of days.

Volume 8 itself was already by far the lowest selling IS volume.

What manga is that?

It's a light novel series. A Certain Magical Index: New Testament 10.

Wow! Giant Killing at 2nd? That's great. Yay for Detective Conan, Hibi Chouchou, Chihayafuru, Magi, Soredemo, Haikyu~

Can't wait for NT 10 to come out and blow everything outta the water :D

On the contrary, i'm kinda pessimistic about it because a couple of factors i can't mention here lol.

Back on topic, NGNL has made a fair amount of sales imo. I hope the sales are raising further. And it's nice to see Magi topped the manga sales ranking.

Spotted Flower looks interesting.
Didn't know Hibi Chouchou sold this well. I don't usually mind works that are slow-paced, but this one felt too slow for me.

Seems like Tokyo Ravens is actually okay, should probably get going on the second half of the anime.

Blade Dance let's get passed SAO before Summer 2014!

I hope we're still gonna get a translation of IS Volume 9. Gotta see what this "rom-com" episode is all about lol

Their sales may have been similar this week, but SAO is on its 3rd week in this week of sales, whereas Blade Dance is on its first.
Bestselling light novel volumes of the year/all time* (and more in the same club including weekly series ranks etc). <-- No longer being updated. Sorry.
