I like how they shifted the colors between white and black to reflect the mood in one particular scene. The rivalry between Yuusuke and Toudou is really awesome this episode imo. They're giving 110% of their effort into this and I praise their effort. :> |

| Toudou was a wreck without Makishima! Maki-chan lost :( Still though to be less then a second when he went 3 minutes later. They were really fast, going to miss Maki's spider dancing! It was nice to see the rivalry, it really pushed them beyond their limits! The casual talk between them and riding with all their might. The high five they shared was a great indication of their relationship! The ace's turn to take the finish line!!! Great episode indeed, never know who's going to win! |

| Great stuff :D Maki and Jinpachi competed to their hearts content :D I felt really happy while watching them duke it out til the very end >.< I just can't get over how crazy Maki's riding style is hehe ^^; Congrats to Jinpachi ^^ Close one Maki-chan :) U did an amazing job. Was funny how both of them missed their high five at first XD Manami wanting to compete with Onoda leaves me hyped for the upcoming days :D And DAT end!!! The Hype for the last part is here!! Kinjou and Imaizumi!! I wonder what Hakone's orange haired guy does? He wasn't in the sprint or climb and he isn't in the last part so... I wonder if the creepy bastard Midosuji is gonna be making his entrance now? Lol'd at the part after the ending XD These 2 are such close friends ^^ |

| Makishima vs. Todou was awesome; going beyond their limit to compete each other! Todou wins but Makishima was also great. That spider climbing style is amazing! :) Manami wants to compete with Onoda at the next inter-high. Another climbing battle! That Ace pairing of Imaizumi and Kinjou next episode! It'll be a tough battle since they'll be up against Fukatomi & Arakita. Moreover, we still haven't seen Midousuji yet, another formidable Ace.. That end part with Todou and Makishima. XD Awesome episode! Arakita vs. Imaizumi next week. |

| The bromance was too strong in this one, lol. The Inter High has been so much fun ever since they ended the sprinting stuff (that part almost made me quit)! I can't wait to see everyone else race, it seems like the episodes will be pretty action packed from here on out |

| That whole monologue felt like yaoi material, seriously, put them in bed instead of riding and it fits perfectly. Makashima arrives just in time while toudou was about to give up on him and they go at each other with all they have, their "muscles" numb after going so hard against each other and they reach their limit but go over it to satisfy themselves and each other for one last time. Is everyone gonna quit racing when they graduate and not go pro, cause that kanzaki guy doesn't ride anymore either. |

| The bromance was not that bad. Some of you are over exaggerating, and what is so wrong with bromance anyway? Is there anything wrong with having a good rival, one who you respect and show gratitude towards? I loved this episode. It's one of my favorites out of the series thus far. The rivalry was beautiful and I actually didn't really care which one of them won. I wanted them both to win equally. In the end, a very satisfying episode. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Now its a battles between the aces next! I'm too excited! |

| That episode was like watching sex between Yuusuke and Jinpachi (ofc in metaphorical meaning) <BROMANCE_cool> Another great episode. I'm a bit sad that Yuusuke was at second place, but we all know that it doesn't matter if you are first or eighty-one. This show know how to make you enjoy the sports excitement. |

I was hoping Jinpachi would win the mountain, I want Kinjou to win the ace battle and it would be kind of a letdown if Sohoku won all three major battles on the first day. |

| Bromance aside, the rivalry is bloody well portrayed imo I haven't read the manga yet, but i just adore how Makishima and Touda have such history in these races! It's really great to see Touda win and Maki-chan isn't so gung-ho about it. It was a great "last battle" for them crey I friggen love sports anime which shows true sportsmanship against rivals! Makes it so satisfying to watch!! |

| Great episode. I'm happy for Maki & Jinpachi. They finally broke their tiebreaker. I knew Jinpachi was going to win. It was very predictable. I think if Maki didn't have to play catch up, he would've won. |

| The feels in the first part, the boring middle part, and the hype in the last part! The middle Jinpachi! Maki-chan! Jinpachi! Maki-chan! Jinpachi! Maki-chan! went a bit overboard for me. I am satisfied with the results. The only part I don't mind Sohoku winning is the last part with captain vs captain, the sprint and hill climb should have won by Hakone, which the hill climb one did. |

| I loved watching the duel between Toudou and Makishima. Now if only Onoda would stop looking terrified at everything and stop being awkward for more than two seconds. Edit: Also I love how Toudou acts like a crazy doting girlfriend towards Makishima. |
