Quarantine (2008)

Alright. This was okay. Like, Cloverfield okay. I enjoyed it, and thank god the fucking camera wasn't as shaky as the one in CF, I mean, wow, because I'm not sure I would've been able to keep my brain intact for another one of those. (I don't see how people watched that shit in theaters)

It could have been so much more awesome. But w/e. It had me jump a couple times. lmao

The latest Rambo movie.

It was fun, really. Didn't expect that much, wasn't all that satisfying, but damn it was fun.

Screamers: The Hunting
Bad acting, worse dialogue. Any self-respecting horror flick would have at least thrown in some nudity, but nope, there's nothing redeemable about it. The first Screamers wasn't a classic but it had something that made it watchable.

Transporter 3 (2008) - 7/10.

Very awesome car stunts & chases, and I love Jason Statham's fighting skills.

It was a lil bit slow & predictable though, which is why I gave it a 7.

Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) - 8/10.

This was really cool, and my first version of this movie that I have seen.

Plus it helped that Brendan Fraser was in it, I liked his acting skills :D.

The Matrix Revolutions (2003) - 8/10.

Epic ending to a great trilogy, I wish there was more.

Sunshine (2007) - 7/10.

Typical Sci-Fi End of the World Movie, but it was somewhat ok.

Recently:

Yatterman (Takashi Miike 2009) 5/5
Miike makes the best superhero movies ever.

Le Samourai (Jean-Pierre Melville 1967) 4/5
Not bad, a predecessor to Taxi Driver.

Ashes Of Time (Wong Kar-Wai 1994) 5/5
Masterpiece about love. Need to watch the redux version now.

Musa (Kim Seong-soo 2001) 5/5
Another masterpiece. Another Korean film that tries to make you cry like a baby.

Peking Opera Blues (Tsui Hark 1986) 5/5
Watching nothing but masterpieces lately, surely one of Tsui Hark's best.

Eye In The Sky (Yau Nai-Hoi 2007) 4/5
Awesome procedural thriller.

Glory To The Filmmaker! & Achilles and the Tortoise (Takeshi Kitano 2007 & 2008) 4/5
Last two of Kitano's autobiographical trilogy, both hilarious and heartbreaking.

Lust, Caution (Ang Lee 2007) 5/5
Amazing. I watched the uncut version and I swear Tony Leung is LITERALLY FUCKING Tang Wei. (oO)

I highly recommend all of the above films. Go watch!
