I think it isn't going to work, but I've already signed! :)

Doubt it will work. Surprising amount of signatures there actually, considering how old this anime is by now.

I would really prefer a remake like Brotherhood personally, rather than a season 2.

It won't work, but it felt good to sign it anyway. LOL

There is only one thing that could cause an EL S2 to happen, and that is $$$ (or ¥¥¥). If you've got a few extra million laying around and want this to be your legacy, you can make it happen. Otherwise, nope.

Jizzy as you would call yourself because youre a dick The most butthurt award goes to you And clearly you havent watched that many shows thats why you cant determine if a show is unique or not Or maybe you're just a child who likes common stuffs where hero saves the day and guys gets all the girls. Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

Since Elfen Lied bombed hard in Japan, it wasn't originally going to be released on Blu-ray. However, a fan petition convinced the studio to do a widespread Blu-ray release and it actually happened! Petitions CAN sometimes work. However, a problem with rallying the supposedly huge Elfen Lied base is demographic challenges. SAO also has a HUGE American and Japanese base, whereas Elfen Lied does not and honestly never has. The Elfen Lied fandom is highly divided by geography and language, so unifying a base primarily located in central/south America, Eastern Europe, and North/Central Europe is very hard. A petition with 1,000 messages in English or 1,000 in Japanese looks more official and unified than one signed by 50 Germans, 45 Russians, 60 Mexicans, 20 Indians, and 25 Polish guys. It costs the studio more money to try release in 20 different areas instead of 2: Japanese release, American English release.

Also keep in mind that a 2nd Season may not be pleasing to all fans. Elfen Lied has a very "broken base" between the fans of the manga and fans of the anime continuity, who would want a unique ending from the manga's. Actually the broken base is one of the reasons Elfen Lied is so defenseless and critically raped on MAL, 4chan, and Reddit. Its remaining fandom that aren't oldtaku that don't discuss anime online anymore, aren't at all unified. Why do do you think despite ALL the hate, the elitists and haters can't budge SAO's MAL rating under 8.1, whereas Elfen Lied is now ranked below Naruto and fucking Bleach!? The SAO fandom are a unified, dedicated phalanx of defense. The Elfen Lied fandom...not so much.
