This anime is so goofy that it is pretty good! It's a fun to watch episode with all sorts of bits to remind you of other anime you have seen. The image linked by the OP of this thread reminded me of Cromartie High and its artwork. Well done! |

| Sora is a genius, he almost always knows what to do and when he doesn't, he always manages, it's amazing. The way in which he brought the queen to his team was very funny and just ingenious. |

| This episode was absolute bullshit and I loved it, for a moment I thought there would be actual stakes and they didn't they just bullshitted the rules, which is lazy writing, yes, but it was absolutely fun to watch. Also I just want to massively compliment this anime for its unique way of handling conflict, using games rather than generic boring action fight scenes. I enjoyed this game of "chess" which wasn't actually chess than most action battle scenes I've seen. This episode wasn't very good story or narrative wise, but it did have amazing writing when it came to dialogue and that's what made this episode so entertaining. Also I absolutely love the dynamic between the two siblings. Also Jojo reference |

| The madlads really packaged their Phoenix Wright references with their own knockoff Cornered theme that genuinely sounds good as its own track. Probably should be more embarrassed to admit this but that speech in all its hype and degenerate glory gave me the most goosebumps I've had from anything in like forever. I was out on the board ready to die for my nation before I even knew it. Love how we went from a board game to an RTS to zombie tag(?) to Fire Emblem in the span of half a duel. |
