Since I got nothing in mind to watch, I'm thinking of finally watching K-on! I'm not a lover of hater of moe/ cute girls doing cute things, but I really don't like SOL that doesn't have some sense of character growth. Is there any in this or not?

You'd think after enough tea and crumpets those girls would actually get up and do something, huh.

Or at least gain some weight.

Anyways on the off chance that this thread is serious, Mio and tsumugi change a little bit.

Azusa too when she stops being an annoying stick in the mud.

Very minimal character development.

The show doesn't get much better than episode 1 so you could watch that and see if you like it.

K-ON! has a lot of character progression, even though it's kind of hard to put it into words. You'll know what I'm talking about once you've gone through all episodes (and probably the sequel manga) and then start over again, as I've recently done it. Even season one had some obvious character progression, for example with Mio being seemingly less scared at the end of it, Ritsu learning to deal with jealousy, Azusa's struggle due to her disbelief in the girls at the beginning, Mugi even starts to work in a shop in order to become more mature, and didn't Ui mention Yui's character change often enough to make it recognizable for everyone? All of them change, and it happens right in front of your eyes.

Honestly there some character development like HTT_John said but...If you're wonna watch this only for that...I recommend you to not, find another one more worth it.
