Sexy Beam! xD

Hilarious and cute episode, I loved it. On top of that it had more casual clothing and swimsuits! :D I also liked the OP with different lyrics, and if I recall correctly the scenes they used were different, too. Anyways, off to speiclal number two~

Thx Kina.

And now, the obligatory pool/beach/bath episode!

Oh wait, didn't they already have a beach episode AND a bath episode? :P

I definitely noticed the OP lyrics were different even though I usually skipped it during the first season (I was watching them consecutively). They lyrics seemed sillier this time.

Oh god! Yoshinoya is hot!

What a wonderful episode. Full of sweet, lulz, and i good dose of Yoshinoya. This is why i love Hidamari Sketch.

Yoshinoya pics: (pardon the last one since it was a quick job, i'm waiting for a better version to come out.)

It's impossible to have too many pool/beach/bath episodes. Off to watch the second~

All the characters are still as sweet as they were in the series. ^_^

It was good, had everything I remember from the series. The principal scaling the fence was hilarious.

The principal rocks, with his fence-scaling skills and water gun-slinging skills.

I think this episode was better than any of the ones in the actual show. The principal is freaking awesome. I found it funny when Sae got jealous since Hiro seemed to think fondly of the life guard.

Pretty humorous episode, the Principal was amazing too. I loved the animation when he was jumping over the fence.

Way to start the specials off with a bang, eh?

Yeah, this version of the lyrics makes a direct reference to the part where they're drawing Brutus in charcoal, and the scenes are:

"Mikuri!" That's her cue to pour water on the boiling somen?

Is Miyako trying to appeal to people with special interests?

Scaling? I call that "leaping"! And knocking the ash off her cig, too.

Well, Miyako tans well... for now...

Heh, Miyako fawning over the watermelon.

Aw, cute picture of Chika! And Sae looks nice, too. :)

Hiro, as well. :)

Going back for her Xs...

Oh. My. That's... some picture of Hiro with Sae's glasses on. Oh wait, you didn't notice that aspect of the picture, did you?

And now I want to try a green tea snowcone. I wonder which will be available here first: that, or lavender ice cream.

Who would use the spray that high?

The part where Miya was eating watermelon, was the greatest selection of animation I have ever witnessed.

That's what you call starting with a bang XD!

I bet the principal was some kind of spec ops agent when he was young. That agility...the gun-slinging skill. Yoshinoya, even with her sexy beam, didn't stand a chance.

The landlady was pretty crafty with her asking for souvenirs.
*brings watermelon for free*
*asks everyone when they'll be going home*
*asks everyone where they're from*

Wtf happened to Miyako in the past? Life boats? Needing to swim when you have to? What O__O

Great summer episode :) This felt more like an ending than previous episode. And we finally learnt why they felt obliged and gave her the fish before (after).

I really enjoyed this one.

Mmm, Shaft's fanservice is the best after all ^^

The principal with a straight-out-of-Nichijou action, it was hilarious (and they do have the same VA!). The SZS reference was also really cool. This episode exceeded the standard set by the series.

I ordered the DVD set from Barnes & Noble. probably has them, as well. If you're looking for a place to watch them online, I couldn't say.
