| I never actually thought abt it. I think it's one of those things ppl accept for what it is after being exposed to it for a long time. My drawings start to gravitate towards anime style after watching a few anime. |

| Because anime fans get fucking CRAZY when things don't confirm to that standard. Make your anime look different (Yuasa stuff, Aku no Hana, One Piece etc...) and tons of people will HATE it just because of the art. OP: I find that anime is more minimalistic in facial features while maximalist in all the rest. Tiny differences in the eyes, or a small mark that distinguish one from another. I don't mind that. Anime isn't supposed to be realistic, and they do a lot more with ideas than other animation styles. |
