| 50 might be the borderline for me. I usually consider 13/26 episode anime to be on the shorter side but have only seen a few anime that were in between 26 and 50 episodes, it seems to be one or the other so it would be weird to say that 26 is short and 50 is long. In the end I'll say 50 is on the long end of medium length |

| In a way. I mean it takes me a while to finish an anime that has about 20 episodes because of time. I don't always get to watch anime so it takes a while to finish one. Which is why most of the anime I watch range about 12-26 episodes. So watching an anime that has 50+ takes even a longer time. It's not as long compared to others, but to me I guess they're average. |

| As others have said, length is irrelevant. It's how long they can keep the quality up. Bad-short feels three times as long as good-long. |

FMA:B also felt really short because it was so goddamn great. I would say a show HAS to be great for me to enjoy it despite its length, aka something Id rate 8+ and the longer it gets the better it has to be. |

| 50 episodes is long for me but only because when you have a full time job i even struggle to get a 12 episode season done in a week nowdays, but i do prefer the longer series anyway just don't have the time to invest in one atm ;( |
| If you mostly watch anime that is 20 to 30 episodes long (which most tend to be) then it's easy to see why more than that can seem like allot. |

| Seeing as todays norm is 12-26 episodes, 50+ is considered long, but do i consider it long.......no, seeing as i have watched LONG anime like One Piece, Naruto (Shippuden), Bleach...etc, 12-26e are not long, if the story line is good or at least decent i prefer longer anime. Even though for some anime its good that they only had 1-6 ova or a movie ( Break Blade, Jin Rho: Wolf brigade...etc). |

And there's also Bleach, which I believe was 376 episodes (or was it 366). Those are the only examples I can think of... but I see what you mean. Gotta love the Lost Years :P |

| Nope. Longer runners are stuff like: Naruto, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Gintama. All the things that are over 100+ are long. 26 episode series aren't considered long to me; they're way too frequent. A 51+ series is considered long to me as well, but not that much. |

| I don't really refer to long anime by episodes but the anime in which an episode makes me look at how long it's still going on and think "Another 10 minutes, ughh". If I refer to long anime by episodes I guess it's 100+ anime, luckily most series have a season of 12/13 episodes. Sometimes it's even 25. |
