Longest? Probably like a week, because I was sick during this time at winter break and I couldn't go out. But generally in summer breaks or something, spring break too, usually I stay home for about 4-5 days a week.
wow you guys have gone months without leaving the house? were you bedridden or something?
my longest is probably 3-4 days during exams or winter break, my sisters or housemates usually eventually dragged me out haha, although this year I'm living alone so when I leave now it is of my own free will :P

Some of us live in a fucking place where you don't need to go out. For example it's a little town without any leisure activities. I live in such a town lol and to be honest I don't need to go out cuz what should I do outside (don't say 'meet friends' my closest friend lives an hour away from my town)
As lazy as everyone calls me, I get really bored if I stay in my house longer than a week, hell even when I cracked the heel of my right foot and was on crutches I still went outside at least a few times a week.
I guess the longest for me was probably somewhere between 3-5 days. Once I start playing a game or watching some anime I'm pretty bad where I'll just stay inside ignoring most outside influences. That's generally over holiday breaks or over the summer where most of my friends are gone.
Years ago I spent all of summer inside watching anime.
Now I'm so stir crazy I can't last long. I was sick for a week and couldn't leave home and by the end of it I was willing to do anything for outdoor exposure.

Oh my.. That might have been too much information, haha.
Hey in the past people only bathed once a year, every time you take a bath you clean away your manliness.
Just like you said, it once was a common thing, so they obviously didn't smell the difference. Nowadays I bet you would definitely turn some heads when going out in public. But in reference to the topic title, if you stayed inside, of course, then you're free to do whatever you want. ;D
About that manliness? Yeah, let's not get into that right now.
