What an episode! Okay, I feel bad to Kanade because she was caught and killed(?) But overall, Neko's tsundere personality ish cute. And don't forget Kana, adorable (y)

Nah, this isn't close to being like that. "Another" is an anime that's a lot like "Final Destination".

Right after I saw the "eject" scene (which made me want to storm their lab and go on a shooting spree), the following popped into my head.

This is pure speculation, but I'm spoiler tagging it just in case.

Now I find out that this series is by Okamoto Rin, the same dude who did Elfen Lied, and I'm off to read the manga!

yeah that's honestly the most likely explanation. I don't see why they would make a big deal about kuroneko in the story if it weren't the case. Or at the very least, that's what they want us to think for now?

Anyways, I don't care for any of these characters so far...so that ejection scene was cooler than it was devastating, lol sorry, but not really. I honestly wish it was hellsing ultimate levels of gross. I don't know why some of you can't stomach a girl turning into goop off-screen.

I'll still keep up with the show, but it's nothing I can really praise. Characters so far all kind of fall into an archetype, story is hardly original, and there isn't anything that really stands out. Humor is OK, I think my favorite part was when Ryouta catches Neko in the act of her silly song. Kana's antics were generally pretty boring. Her lamenting over blended cake was both sad and hilarious. Solid food RAWKS
It's also pretty clear there is no good reason stephen hawking is wearing that stupid gothic outfit other than to give some sorry dudes at home a hard on. All I really care about at this point is the relationship between the MC and kuroneko out of curiosity.

They just had to break the intensity of this anime by making Kana some "Pervert!" yelling tsundere.

This anime is getting a little too real though, I wonder how Kuroha will save the other witches? Damnnnnn...

One thing that's making me love this series more and more is how realistic the artwork is, combined with how believable the characters are. I'm really liking it so far. As for this episode in particular, I'm a bit disappointed with how slowly the plot is developing (though I recall hearing some people who read the manga say that it's moving a lot faster than the manga). At the pace it's going, I'm not sure how much will actually transpire in the course of 13 episodes.

But, it really tugged at some heartstrings to find out that Kuroha and Tachibana have to live in fear of being killed. I'm quite liking Kuroha's character and it's so sad that they have short lifespans :'(

To give her the keyboard, so she could express the pleasure vocally, or just keep her on mute, that is the question.

I'm not sure what to feel about this show. Might turn into crap at any moment, hope not. Anyway, I guess she didn't want to go to the beach because she didn't want to expose her valve?

in the beginning of the episode that girl in the dark truck really looked like kuroha and i thought it was her, after all it wasn't
wtv

enjoying the show, but i feel that they might screw it up, since they have only 13 episodes to work, and, like in other shows, it might get too rushed
good episode

Characters are annoying as hell, I just wish they get captured, tortured and killed.
But, of course that won't happen...

LOL at whoever thinks these characters are "believable"
They're not completely 2-dimensional, but they hardly have any humanizing characteristics. I mean, they ARE bioengineered and apparently disposable, so it sorta makes sense, but really now, from what I can tell, all their actions so far have just felt predictable from the plot / situation at hand. Then and you have Kana, who is your stereotypical overreactive bitchy type, only she's completely paralyzed...lol

This is awesome. I hope it stays good like this. 10/10 so far. That military scene with the vehicles passing the main character was very nice. This series feels a bit like Higurashi and Elfen Lied.

I really like that paralyzed girl.

Man, when Kanade melted after that doctor guy pulled on that thing on the back her neck. It's starting to give me Elfen Lied vibes. It looks like the gory scenes are starting.

Kana as an abusive paralyzed goth-loli? Yes, please!

Why is this show called "Gokukoku no Brynhildr" anyway? Are Valkyries involved here?
"I played the game called "Real Life" once, the Graphics were amazing but, the Story sucks. PVP was not allowed. The Physics Engine was very shitty. I wasn't fond of the Characters too. The Soundtrack was great until the 90's update. Respawn time sucked as well. "

I'm seeing a lot of Elfen Lied references here. I haven't watched E.L. coz I was told is was too gory and I can't handle it too much. I hope this anime wont turn out like that in terms of visually or at least limit the gory-ness coz I'm enjoying this story/plot as of now.

Yay, exceeded my expectations! Since last week, I kept on anticipating a stupid Strike-The-Blood-esque harem that would pop up in this show, but I'm glad it hasn't yet and probably won't be like that at all. Really enjoying the mood and the whole "killing prediction" plotline.

I preferred the first episode. Hopefully will pick up, because that first episode was pretty memorable. Laughed so hard when she was reading hiragana and not the Kanji. Btw, how many times did the MC say "Is it because Kuroha reminds me of Kuroneko?" I propose a drinking game.

I thought Kuroha was captured when I saw the Self-Defense Force vehicles. Bleh, I was wrong. What a sad life these witches have. Not being able to live a normal life without being hunted down by the government.

This shit is fucking forced as shit. They referred back to the same flashback numerous times within the last 2 eps.
The second half of this episode was better. This isn't looking very good so far.

Liking the series so far, hopefully it won't go original and and have a anime-only ending, so that I can read the manga after the anime, continuing on from where it left off.

Using wood fires in an abandoned village? Sure you are really trying to hide?

Especially given that it's in plain sight from that outlook she gave as address to the school. Sure, "they" can not check out every random transfer student, but if they ever get a hunch, it's not gonna take long to connect the dots.

Leaving suspicous craters in the earth and giant rocks split into two perfect halfs around doesn't exactly help, either.

I also wonder how she passed the supposedly hard tests to transfer in. Unless she could do the tests "at home" and simply hand them in. Why she did transfer all just to save people..with her and Kana's powers, there should have been another way, so she *really* wants to go to school. Playing hard to get, are we?

Hmmmm still duno what to really think of this one. Can't really get in to it just yet.
Needs more story development. But ugh this creator made Elfen Lied.. oh crap =X
I still remember what he did to his character Lucy.. already foresee the ending and I know I won't like it.
Just hope this time Okamoto surprises my expectations.

The best episode so far, despite the very fast pace, liked the story and inserted whole drama behind the characters, a characteristic of the author, even for parties, appealing, but now things are starting to take shape, although all critical compared to the manga. Glad to not have read the plumb, because I think my view would be different, the same happened when I watched the anime Mirai Nikki, after having read the manga, the perspective is totally different.

What I did not like much was the soundtrack, ost that in the end did not fit with the context of the series, but ok.

The nature of narrative, it is not unnatural in this second episode.
The footprint of the Okamoto, is still very readable.
In a sense, it is not bad to have these moments of relief from time to time, make it a little more bearable the strong parts.
Plot that has some pretty dramatic moments, I wonder if censored. I could not understand them.
Drawing not bad, worse than I thought at the beginning of the series.
Here you will maybe hate the bad guys really are. As a start is not bad, the scientist is annoying me already.
The figure of Kana no wonder a lot, in the various PV I had the feeling that he could be paralyzed, but I think I need to rework the concept of paralysis, because I have not well understood the nature of the girls.
Opening really good idea, makes me more and more anxious.
The animations could improve a little more.

Seens like this mangá/anime had several similarities with another well known Lynn Okamoto's work.

1 - A tragic past involving the main character.
2 - Girls with extrage powers.
3 - A huge lab's conpiracy.
4 - Seens like the things will get more harém.
5 - Melancholy and humor in the same boat.
6 - Possibillity of future tragic events.

There must be another similarities....

I hope this show will meet my expectations, though I probably need to lower them at least a bit quickly.

I felt a pain in my heart. Funny scenes about cakes, classwork and so emphasized conversely the cruel fate of Kuroha and Kana. It seemed a dim light that would be blown out by extreme darkness. I think that this anime series has an atmosphere of depression and melancholy. I enjoyed it well until now. But I don't know how long I can stand this darkness.

Exactly what I was thinking! But not so much that I "can't stand" it; rather, I'm becoming more and more interested. I don't know how this anime is being criticized based on these first two episodes. It feels very foreboding, and I love that.

Kana is pretty cute. It's pretty neat how that keyboard manages to convey emotion and stuff.

The melting scene was interesting...makes me wonder just what exactly the experiments have changed their bodies.

The dude is digging his own way in to some really deep shit, and he doesn't mind. I like that.
Ha, I knew it!! She will speak like that. Poor her, though. She is paralyzed :/
I really thought that it was Kuroha inside the truck. Poor her, though. She.....melted??
Kuroha can't read Kanji, and lol at that cake scene ahahaha. Though, seeing them so happy with just that makes me sad T^T Kuroha is so cute *^*

Yeah IMO your opinion sucks.

They have adapted everything nicely so far, if only the pacing could keep like this... I m expecting them to really start rushing in the next couple of episodes.
But for this one, nicely done.
Kana was soo cute (much better than in the manga), and Neko is also so charming so far.
The mangaka never appealed to me with how he drawn the faces, specially the eyes.

I m seeing the uncensored version, so when they ejected the girl, I was expecting to see more gore, in the manga you can really see the skin melting and the bones appearing... yikes!!
