...only there's no one above me and I have no one to suggest to, but I will later!

You can just suggest something you like or guess from the person's list or their sig... but I'm always curious about what other people would recommend or suggest. ^.^

legitimate topic only if enough thought out responses are made. if the thread gets flooded with one-phrase posts then this goes to spam. letting the other mods know I got this :)

you seem to have varying tastes so can't really pinpoint a good recommendation for you yet. I'll just say you need to finish Kanon. then watch clannad :D

I'm going out on a branch here and saying Oh! Edo Rocket. Same director as FullMetal Alchemist, comedy with lots of good characters salted and peppered throughout.

I suggest Manabi Straight for you, Lelangir. You've given Minami-ke a 10 so it seems you enjoy Slice of Life type animu.

Gah, I always knew I left off one series. Nah, I'm not a fan of Mecha. Looking for a series, though. Gave FMP! a try, but never got into it.

To you (Lelangir) and Karura, I recommend Princess Mononoke.

I'm going to say Baccano!
Though it is difficult to reccomend something when you've seen so many on my list, it also helps by giving me more data about your preferences. Along with other responses I've seen you post I think this might be something to your tastes. Though it differs a little from your favourite anime in terms of violence it also has similar character designs to 12 kingdoms, a down to earth animation feel, and a similar atmosphere as well, though less political... and as mentioned, more violent.

Nonetheless a good overall anime. And worth watching even if I may have made some erroneous conclusions.

Its actually sitting on my HD waiting for a watch. :D

I'm going to recommend you Millennium Actress since you liked 5cm. It's got beautiful animation and a similar theme of bittersweet love.

I'd say Shoujo Kakumei Utena. No, not just because I think it's great and everyone should watch it. I'd say if you can appreciate and enjoy and complex show like Evangelion, you'd like Utena as well.

Future Boy Conan, because since we have pretty high anime compatibility, I'm guessing you may like one of the higher rated animes on my list. =)

You're suppose to give a sentence atleast instead of just a title.

Anyway I suggest School Rumble season 2, you haven't seen it though you've watched the first one.

Mahou Shoujo Tai Arusu

It's an all around excellent show. I personally enjoyed it more than the various Nanoha series.

You seem to like action packed shonen animes and this is one of the classics.

Url_elf. I think you should watch Samurai Champloo. You're seen cowboy bebop and liked it and i think if you enjoyed CB you'll defenitely enjoy samurai champloo.

^ this is really hard.. :(

first of all, move DtB from "plan to watch" to watching ^_~

but er, for something new.. to recommend..

Oh! Go for Monster. You seem to like a lot of action-y shows, and a lot of slice of life shows.. and Monster is somewhat slower-paced allowing you to get to know the characters (like most slice of life shows), but it is somewhat more action-y and suspenseful.

I would actually recommend monster to everyone! :D

Since you liked Lucky Star (You gave it a 9, so I guess you like it) I'll suggest Ichigo Mashimaro for you :D Both series are similar. My avatar and sig are pics of characters from Ichigo Mashimaro, btw.

You seem to favour ones that have a good music track.

Only thing I can think of you watching is Initial D for the eurobeat type music.

Rozen Maiden.

Only anime I can think of that isn't already on your list.
I get the feeling you're in the same situation or experienced a situation as the main character.
You seem to like quick paced anime with some psychological aspects to it.

hmm.. a bit ifficult dince you seem to like different genres.. but based on your scores in your completed list, I think i'm going to recommend Chrono Crusade to you, since you look like you like action, comedy and romance, and then this is a show you have to see.

I'm actually mid way through Kino's already lol. It's just on my 'On Hold' list 'cause I borrowed it from a friend.

So... how about watching Mushishi :D ?

Alright too corny :D Looking through your list, I'd recommend Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu.

Not very much on your list. Looks like you need to go through the must-watches first. So go for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya :D

Hrm... we don't seem to agree on very much, but I get the impression that you like serious, sort of... reserved, psychological dramas, so I'd suggest getting further into Monster. I was thinking maybe Genshiken b/c you liked NHKnY a lot, but it feels like our view of comedy is different.

Great storyline combined with a excellent animation, I think no one should miss it.
Plus, it's one of the only mechas I've ever liked.

I'm gonna have to recommend Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo

You've seen and loved everything just about everything on my top 10 list, and have a good appreciation for slice-of-life dramedy and quality animation. This is for you.
