| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Again not much to say about this episode. Just another duel against one of these Orichalcos guys. It feels dragged by now, the duels are very anti climatic. Let's just hope this one is over quick, Yugi gets his revenge with Rafael and then Dartz starts to get into action soon. |
| Yeah, this duel did feel a little on the slow side since Amelda wanted to show Kaiba what was going on in his country. Mayne, that type of stuff makes me grateful I didn't grow up in that type of environment. This type of stuff happens in real life, y'know. Hell, Yuan didn't even get to grow up. This duel is pretty close right now though. I like the whole duel in the sky thingy going on so that's probably why whenever I re-watch this anime, I am always looking forward to this one lol |
| The dub totally misunderstood Kaiba's play towards the end; in the Japanese version he used XYZ-Dragon Cannon's destruction effect on the 3 tokens by discarding 3 cards from his hand. But the dub made it so that Kaiba destroyed the Tank Corps Trap Card that Amelda used to create the tokens, despite that move being illogical since Tank Corps' effect wasn't continuous to begin with, so destroying it wouldn't have destroyed the tokens. |
