| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty intense episode... Yugis acting was very impressive, even though it was clear that he was either under mind control or acting. I really liked the german voice-actor in this episode from Yugi, he did such a good job here. Other than that, nothing to say, Yami won't be depressed anymore and will use his dragon in the next duel again. |

| What a great episode! As that one internet pic said, "Trust no one, not even yourself!" So the two Yuugis dueled each other. &++ the original Yuugi did it to help the Nameless Pharaoh overcome the darkness in his heart. The latter still had some insecurities he needed to work on, but hopefully this duel served as the first step to overcoming them. It was nice to see cameos of past antagonists/villains. There's the edgelord Player Killer, Bandit Keith, Rare Hunter, Pandora and Yami Marik! |
| This episode was so boring, mostly because it featured such a bland version of Yugi vs Atem that the manga and anime did so much better dueling the ceremonial duel later. Yugi and Atem having the same cards in their hand made the duel predictable, and the fact that there was only one new card played sucked. Also I don't know why the dub made Haga's fate unknown here when the Japanese version clearly told us his whereabouts. |
