Who here is interested in this game?

I'm seeing a lot of games and inspirations I've personally very fond of being mentioned in the wiki and such for example like Studio Ghibli and Yoshitaka Amano in it's artstyle presentation, then you have an active time battle system similar to Final Fantasy and the Grandia series although the core creative team is comprised of those who worked on Far Cry 3 which I must admit I've never played.

The most appealing thing to this is it's art style (it looks lovely I think) and the coming of age theme to me personally.

I guess I need 3D to really enjoy a game to its fullest.
The fighting system with skilltree etc. looks really interesting + the art is epic (no doubt about it) but 2D games always lack something, at least it seems so to me.

decided to pre-order it yesterday, it looks real nice. i love high-res 2d games, especially if they're rpgs or beat-em-ups.

I always liked 3D more because it means having way more options in movement for example. This makes combat much more challenging and interesting.

Ubisoft made two excellents 2d plataform games in the past (Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends). I have hope this one is going to be good too.

definitely has potential, also them specifically the excellent and under-appreciated grandia 2 as one of its inspirations is only more reason to be excited

its premise sounds like eternal sonata's minus the desecration of a incredible composer and hopefully not completely wasted on a mediocre rpg experience

Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

It looks beautiful. I haven't played it yet or anything, but I'm definitely gonna try it out soon!

I just watched a playthrough of some of it, and the music is so beautiful as well.

Yeah I'm really hoping you unlock a higher difficulty after Hard, anyways the combat I love, the speed system + using your skills to interrupt your opponents is pretty cool.

I find it funny, then the firefly gets angry whenever something goes out of rhyme.

I actually prefer 2D games on mobile platforms, I feel like they fit better for that type of play. Kinda like how I preferred Raymond Jungle Run over Raymond Origins. Hopefully it will come out for the iPad or PS Vita...

A game where most of the rhyming didn't suck.

rhyming is rhyming. there isn't really any realm of 'sucky' rhyming, unless you're just getting all hoity toity about rhyming simple words.

Well since rhyming is a form of art, you can hate it or love it, but art will stay art.

Awful skill"tree"s, unengaging combat, sore index finger from holding down L2 half the game (why I didn't get this on Steam is beyond me).

But it's pretty I suppose,
and I prefer rhyming to prose.

Just beat this. It's got excellent art direction, and the music is quite melancholic, which suits me fine. The combat's really bleh, though. I don't appreciate being interrupted when casting; it's just a huge pain in the ass when I'm not able to hold my turn (as opposed to being forced to act right away). Definitely agree that the skill tree was largely unnecessary; they should have put the stat gains automatically when levelling, and leave upping skills for the skill tree only. It did drag a bit long though. The sidequests were pretty terrible -- awfully generic for such an artistic game (fetch quests and find-the-NPC). Probably would have been better without them.

I hope Ubisoft gets to do stuff like this more often. I liked it a lot more than their other stuff, like AC. Hope it sells OK.

The art is quite good, it would have been better if the game is extremely long (70-100 hrs?) and has a plat ;)

I think it'd kinda suck if it lasted that long.
