| Since we're getting closer to 100 members, I figured it was time to make a thread like this. Which roles do you think were Mai's best ones? I personally love her as Mai from Mai-HiME and Rena from Higurashi. The other roles are awesome as well but those two stand out. Her best role so far is the one of Nagisa in Clannad. Did you listen to how she cries? That sounds so real that you just want to give her a hug. ;_; MAI FTW! Ever since I watched the above scene from Mai-HiME, I told myself "Nakahara Mai is the best cryer." To sum it up, Tokiha Mai and Furukawa Nagisa. Edit: When I hear "Nakahara Mai," I always think "Tokiha Mai." Not only was it my first character, they have the same name! Furukawa is just awesome. The first time Tomoya sits next to her during their lunch break, she sounds so sad and you can't help but choke up a little. T_T |

| Personally i really liked her in mai hime and higurashi, she does do a really good crying voice though >.< but her random laughs as rena are awsum XD . ever since i heard in her in mai hime i've been watching stuff shes been in :P she can do really different characters well, aono and mai tokiha are really different but she makes them sound good =D |

| all of the chars she voiced are good ... the best are double nagisa (clannad, strawpan) -> so soft followed by rena and mai ... but i don't really like teana ... mai's voice don't really fit for tea's tsundere >< |

| She has so much range, it's really hard to tell. She does great as Rena, creating an unbelievable difference between her moe- and scary-moments. And of course both of her Nagisas (Clannad and Strawberry Panic) are gret, but the roles I like her most in Zakuro from Otome Youkai Zakuro and Selnia from Ladies vs. Butlers. Like I posted on her profile: her tsun-mode outbeats Rie Kugimiya's by far, at least for me. Hope she returns from hiatus, soon. |
