| Thoughts on having no level cap? It's either gonna have extreme diminishing returns, or it'll be very difficult to maintain a level over 50. I heard that the death penalty is 10% excess exp, so staying above 60 will be very difficult. I'd imagine that it'll be super epic to be facing that one level 75 guy on the enemy guild that everyone must work together to take down xD. |
| I just realized the aspect of having no level cap can lead to a very Accel World situation. A set of players manage to reach a very high level without dying, and thus make a truce to avoid the death penalty, and each rule a different castle and region in the world of black desert xD |
Rangers on horses seem so OP LOL. What can you do to stop a ranger from just tailing you and whittling away at your ass lmao. Also I love how you can ram other people off their horses xD |

dayummm, the stats jump between 99 and 100 is ginormous. Basically anyone who reaches level 100 becomes God xD For anyone who doesn't know how levels work in BD, there is a soft cap at level 50 and a hard cap at 100. Past level 50, it becomes much harder to level up, and stats bonuses become smaller. Also, if you die you lose 10% of your excess exp. So if you die at level 99, you'd lose around 5 levels of exp. At least that's how I think it works. :V To quote someone from the BD forums: Ike said: Dont rly know but it is so hard to go over 60 which you will need 5 years of grinding to go 70 - 80. I guess no one will reach lvl 100. Those level 100 stats seem justified xD |
