Last bought? Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden. a classic that changed history.

I don't usually buy, I'd rather download. But whenever there's a budget, I'd buy.

UVERworld - PROGLUTION
May very well be their best full-length yet, though I'll have to listen to it a few more times through to be sure. Really solid and fun to listen to.

Albums:

Thrice - Vheissu
What can I say? They've kept thier hardcore style while adding more mature layers into their sound.

Buckethead - Bermuda Triange
I've only downloaded the first half of the album, but so far it is pretty unique. A touch of electronica to Buckethead's usual shredding. The longer songs are definitely the best so far.

Songs:

Zircon - Nomura Limit
The 9th song on the first FFVII remix (Voices of the Lifestream: Crisis) album created by OCRemix. Pretty dull compared to the first 8 songs of the album. Too short as well. Getting the 10th song this week.

Silent Civilian - Rebirth of the Temple
Relatively new band, awesome album. Really liked it, and although not all of the tracks were as good as the title track, Rebirth of the Temple is the probably my favourite song ever. All in all, the album would get a 9.5/10 from me.

New Song:

Xaleph - Son of Chaos (Shinra Company)
The 10th song on the first FFVII remix (Voices of the Lifestream: Crisis) album created by OCRemix. It adds an extra touch of dark and atmospheric beats/synths with the already dark tone music of the Shinra building. One of the best songs on the album so far. Getting the 11th song next week.

Albums:

Daft Punk - Homework
There's nothing much to say. Nearly everyone else in the world that love Dance already know how awesome Daft Punk's music is.

Just checking them out, since I like indie music. So far they've been okay.

I've just finished checking out Bullet For My Valentine's Scream Aim Fire including the bonustrack No Easy Way Out.

The album is okay, but doesn't reach the quality of The Poison unfortunately. I'm going to listen to the songs again to pick out the best ones, it's still a good album but it's not great.

I just got the Kaiji OST and it's friggin' great. It even has the full size OP with Kaiji singing, instead of the 'old' version by The Blue Hearts. I love it.

I bought Ministry "Greatest Fits" some days ago. I usually hate buying compilation albums, but it was cheap and it was the only Ministry album the shop had, anyway.
It's pretty good, and there are some great tracks there (Jesus Built My Hotrod, Bad Blood...)

I have also borrowed Nine Inch Nails' "With_Teeth" from a friend and just finished listening to it. It was great, but I guess The Fragile and The Downward Spiral were both better than this one.

Bullet For My Valentine - Scream Aim Fire
Just like what Cyruz and Lifeaspect have said. Heavier than the last album, with some great songs mixed with some average ones. Standout songs would be:

Hearts Burst Into Fire
Deliver Us From Evil
Say Goodnight

Bought (GASP) 2 albums today:

Linkin Park - Reanimation
I've always wanted this album since 2005; I just got distracted with LP's other albums (I got addicted to LP in 2005), Gorillaz and BFMV's first album. Anyway, Reanimation is exactly what I wanted; great remixes of LP's first album; Hybrid Theory. 9/10

System of a Down - System of a Down
Randomly found SOAD's debut album. Not sure what to think of it; but I do know that Suite Pee rocks.

Though I didn't like it at first; I've grown to like most of the songs on the album. 7.5/10

Adding score to these albums later. I hope I don't regret choosing SOAD's debut album over Daft Punk's Alive 07 live album.

You won't - even though I haven't heard Daft Punk's "Alive 07", I can easily say that SOAD's debut album is one of my favorite albums ever (and one of their best).

Reanimation is awesome. SOAD's debut album though...apart from Suite Pee, War?, Spiders and Know, the rest of the songs are average. Mezmerize is a better album. I need to get Toxicity now...

I just checked out the ef ~ a tale of memories / a fairy tale of the two OST ~espressivo~. The anime is a masterpiece and the music is really nice, more on the calm side. I'll keep it though. Looking forward to the second OST.

^ There goes my wasted post I suppose.

Anyway, I just got Tainaka Sachi's new Love is... . I already knew a few songs but it's a decent album with nice tracks. I love her and her voice so I couldn't possibly say it's bad. However, the songs don't stand out too much. I hope she'll be back one day with a track that reminds me of the times when I fell in love with her music. :D

But yeah, still a very nice album so every fan should get it if s/he can.

Single-wise, I got LP's Plaster.

Album-wise, I finally got every song on Buckethead's "Bermuda Triangle". Buckethead's usual shredding goes well with the electronic elements he imputed. Best songs would be:

Sea of Expanding Shapes
Whatevas
Isle of Dead
911

Crazy album. I like this one a lot more than anything they've done before.

Foxy Shazam - Introducing
This shit's like a new and revitalized form of old school rock n roll. Awesome. I can't wait to see these guys with TFOT in April.

Streetlight Manifesto - Somewhere in the Between
Late, I know, but it's great.

With the 12th song on Voices of the Lifestream - Crisis downloaded, I've finally completed 1/4 FFVII Remix albums on OCRemix that I plan to download. Best songs on the album are definitely:

Deliverance of the Heart
Every Story Begins With a Name
No Such Thing As The Promised Land
Too Much Fighting
Son of Chaos

I finally have an Andy Hunter album. YAYness. I can only re-listen to "The Wonders of You" a certain amount of times before wanting more.

Andy Hunter - Exodus

The title for Track 4 says it all. "Amazing". Andy Hunter is the coolest Christian ever, and I can't wait to get his other two albums. 10/10

I also added scores to the Reanimation and SOAD albums that I posted about on the last post of the previous page.

The Depreciation Guild - In Her Gentle Jaws
Shoegaze/8bit is an unusual combination, but it works so well here. This is such a beautiful and relaxing album. For anyone that's interested, you can get it for free off their site in 320kbps. Check it out.

I've also more or less completed my World's End Girlfriend disco. Still have yet to listen to it all, but it's good shit. Anyone who is into post-rock, check that guy out. His stuff is some of the best the genre has to offer.

EDIT:

This Will Destroy You - Young Mountain [EP]
Much more ambient and relaxing than most post-rock. I like this band a lot.

One of my favourite bands... The music is awesome and I like the songs more than the last album 13's reborn... And because I bought it after their live it had a little bit different meaning then... Ah the good memories... Oh and this album has one of my favourite songs right now... Kowarete Iku Sekai... ^^

Boris - Pink
Their music is really loud and intense. It hurts my ears sometimes, but it's cool, man. It's cool.

The Clientele - Suburban Light
This is such a good pop album; really relaxing.

My Bloody Valentine - You Made Me Realise EP & Loveless LP
God, this is so good. I love it. Only thing that bothers me is every track on Loveless seems to start out loud, haha. I'm all relaxed and shit from the previous track and then the next one comes on and it's just... oh man. It's great, though. It's probably just because I haven't slept in like 30 hours.

System of a Down - Toxicity
More focused than the first album. Serj's lyrics are so damn catchy. Best songs would be; Prison Song, Bounce, ATWA, Chop Suey and Toxicity.

I forgot to mention that I've started downloading the second album of the OCRemix FFVII project; The Voice of The Lifestream. The second album is called Dirge, and I now have the first song; Short Skirts, which is a remix of Tifa's Theme.

Megadeth's Rust in Peace was not the band's best produced album.. neither was it the most anarchistic, if that's a word or best technique-wise. Wait, not sure about the last one.
Yet, it's one of the best albums EVER. I know it backwords, that's how good the album is.

I knew that their second album was different from their first...but WOW...it's quite a change. A more synthpop style. Which works. 9/10

Last 3 albums bought by different artists:

Gazette - Disorder
Their debut album. Re-released quite some time ago, but still the songs on this CD blow me away. My favourite songs: "THE $OCIAL RIOT MACHINE$" and "Carry?". 9/10

alice nine. - Alpha
A slightly lighter approach to rock music then Gazette's. Maybe even pop-rock.... Actually I'm not sure. I can't think of what to say next... =/ Favourite song: "White Prayer". 8/10

L'Arc~en~Ciel - Kiss
Haha, everyone must have heard of the song title "DAYBREAK'S BELL", right? Gundam 00's first opening. This album is great and I recommend it to anyone who likes simple rock. Favourite songs: "SEVENTH HEAVEN" and "pretty girl". 8/10

Pitbull - The Boatlift | I like this guy's style, very nice hiphop album. There's a nice Remix of 'Fuego' on it, which was a track on the previous album and it's great. 8/10.

Blu & Exile - Below The Heavens | More hiphop, but great hiphop. Very solid album! 9/10 so far.

Vexille OST | I loved the music in the movie and I'm currently listening to the first cd of the soundtrack. Great artists contributed to this movie like Basement Jaxx, DJ Shadow, or Boom Boom Satellites. Loving it so far.

Say something eh? Let's see...

Well lately I've been getting a lot of the openings and endings that Kotoko has done. I decided that I should at least try to give some actual money back and I bought the Hane cd and concert dvd. It was pretty good. It was nice to hear Kotoko do something that didn't sound all electronic and fast paced. My favorite tracks on there are Asura, Lament, and 幻影.

I stumbled on OneRepublic's Apologize. I had heard it before listening to samples from Timbaland's album. At the time, I didn't feel like it was hip hop enough and dismissed it. Flash forward about 2 months and I hear it in my friend's car. This time I am thinking that it's a good pop song with some hints of a hip hop beat. It turns out that this was the other version of the song. I ended up liking that one better so I got it.

Obtaining the True Tears soundtrack was random. I am into the show a lot and really like the opening song. I decided to get it since it was kind of staring me in the online face. It's okay but nothing outstanding to me.

If we got 80% or higher let me know! :)

There we go. :D

I can only recommend the Timbaland album Shock Value which has the Apologize Remix on it. The other tracks are pretty sweet too.

The True Tears soundtrack is nice, nothing outstanding as you said but still one of the better ones. The instrumentals of Reflectia are really nice.

I'm in love with Kotoko's Opening for Hayate no Gotoku! called Shichitenhakki Shijou Shugi, one of my favorite OP songs.

I got a few songs from Shock Value. They are pretty good. It's almost like anything Timbaland touches turns into gold from working with Missy to Aalyiah to Justin.

Oh, I have to recommend Nickelback's new album All The Right Reasons. I had got that right before Kotoko's and it was amazing. I'm a casual Nickelback fan liking a few songs here and there but this album was good. There might be only one track that I don't really like (Side of A Bullet.)

I agree that Shichitenhakki Shijou Shug is an awesome song. It's one of the few singles I obtained as well. Something about that chorus when she hits that little high note gets me every time. I love it.

If we got 80% or higher let me know! :)
