My favorite Miyazaki movie is Laputa, but I believe that the best one is Mononoke. So I'll go for Mononoke :)

Added Ponyo and The Wind Rises to the list. Also made this thread a sticky. -Kyoki

The first one I saw was Mononoke, but my favorite is Spirited Away. However I haven't seen The Castle of Cagliostro, My Neghbour Totoro, or Porco Rosso.

I cannot vote since they are all good

Spirited Away was good it just gets boring after you have watched so many times

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind was a great movie first one I saw and i watched it the other night I might have this at number 2

Princess Mononoke was a great movie for the detailed battle's and the culture life it showed

Howl's Moving Castle might have to be my number 1 because it was well great

Laputa was okay but i didnt quite catch the story of it much since I normally skiped parts

Kiki's Delivery Service was pretty good for the movie quality it had but I liked the storyline of it the most

The Castle of Cagliostro was okay at first but only got better as it went on

& finally
Porco Rosso was funny it had a good storyline and it was a great movie

Of all that I have seen, this is my opinion:
1) Spirited Away (my vote)
2) Princess Mononoke
3) Howl's Moving Castle
4) Kiki's Delivery Service
5) Laputa
6) Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
7) My Neghbour Totoro
8) Porco Rosso

Although Grave of the Fireflies, Whispers of the Heart and Pom Poko are Ghibli productions, Miyazaki was not the director of any of these animations. He was one of the the writers of Whisper of the Heart though.

Totoro was the very first Miyazaki movie I've seen and still a favourite even after watching it countless of times. Close 2nd and 3rd are Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service.

I picked Spirited Away mainly for my love of Haku, but really, Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service are tied for me among Miyazaki's work. My favorite overall Ghibli film is Whispers of the Heart. Yadosagashi, a ghibli short film I saw at the Ghibli museum was super-awesome too!

Howl's Moving Castle would've been on the list if the story hadn't been so messed up in the movie. D: Good thing I read the book beforehand.

Totoro, hands down. Its the only re-watchable anime out of all of them. I mean i can watch mononoke, spirited away and howl's like 1-3 times but i then i'd get bored after that, not saying its bad its just not very entertaining to rewatch cuz they develope slowly.

Totoro, i can rewatch over 5-7 times and still laugh and be entertained. Maybe its just me?

Well, it's not just you; I've seen Totoro at least a dozen times and I never get bored. It always makes me laugh and remember what it's like to be a kid with a big imagination and a belief in magical creatures. Also, the ending always makes me sob. Powerful stuff.

Obviously I voted for Totoro. ;)

From the choices, Nausicaa, although people may argue that the manga is better it's still his lifework and a great influence on his later and other people's works. Castle of Cagliostro is very awesome as well, just not as refined as Nausicaa and Laputa which both drew a great deal of inspiration from it and where he could further employ his experience and work with ideas free from any restriction based uppon the source material.

The poll is rather biased though, should have been favourite Miyazaki work, Conan and the Nausicaa manga are still unexcelled, albeit also working with more time and material.

My favorite one is Laputa, because it reminds me so much of Fushigi no Umi no Nadia, that I really love.
Second one would be Totoro, and third one... Nausicaa or Mononoke Hime, I can't choose. >_>

I haven't seen all of them yet, but Spirited Away is the most favorite one. Slightly next are Princess Monoke, Howl's Moving Castle and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. But of course, there is no movie which you couldn't call outstanding or marvellous :D

for me, its either Princess Mononoke (which has brilliant deeper meanings of war etc in it, and full of action) or Spirited Away (which is as if someone captured my dream and filmed it.

My favorite would have to be Porco Rosso. A lot of Miyazaki's movies involve flight, but I think the beautiful sea planes take the cake for me. The storyline was great, and I loved all of the characters, especially Porco/Marco. The music is also my third favorite of all time. The Castle of Caglisostro is a close second.

Mononoke. First of his I saw, and it really cemented my interest in anime beyond any doubt. The parts toward the end are about the most intense I've ever seen. 2 and 3 are Nausicaä and Laputa respectively, but I love them all.
