| What's with all the ship hating? The group dynamic is fine. Anyway, I still don't know how seriously this show wants me to take it. The blending of drama and comedy was pretty good this episode, but the suspension-breaking mecha stuff keeps bugging me. It will be quite ironic if the actual mechas end up being my least favorite part of the show. Still, the part where Kamina shoved Lagann into Gurren's head (before the actual transformation) was hilarious. That alone helped make the fight seem better, to me. |
| So Yoko wants to pursue something with Kamina. I find it sort of refreshing actually that the girl is the one taking initiative since it usually goes the other way in genres like these. They seem to have decent chemistry so I like it. :) Simon is starting to get on my nerves with his defeatist attitude but he seems to be getting over it quickly and likely he'll become a lot more courageous over the course of the series. We've seem Simon and Kamina in action so now I'm hoping Yoko gets in on it more. |

| More great action, more humor, creepy antagonist, character building. Looks like that actually was Kamina's dad, I like that he took the cape. Pleasantly surprised by Gurren Lagann right now. Also, the combination of the Gurren and Lagann was awesome. |
| This show is very good so far but I really don't want to see Kamina x Yoko. It really does not feel right for this show. But maybe I just got to see more of it to accept it. Other than that I am looking foward to watching more |

| Damn Kamina. That was a good idea despite how ridiculous it sounded. He literally just stuck the head into his gunmen. Great episode. Hopefully the show continue like this. |
| The first part of the combination was epic, and then it became ridiculous after nothing happened. But then it got epic again, so good. The white mecha was badass tho, hitting kamina in mid air! |

| that moment when Yoko put her orange glases on and aimed and the colors remained just the way they were before... I got distracted for the rest of episode lol why this does bother me so much! I was sure everyting will get a bit more orange when shown from her perspective. |

| This episode has gotten me into the anime, the other 2 episodes were okay but this one was cool, I liked the combination scene and it's nice to see that Yoko and Leeron are going to be characters we follow in the series along with Kamina and Simon. |

| I'm with mostly everyone else on Yoko, her only flaw so far is her attraction to Kamina. It's just the usual girls-like-bad-boys cliche :/ |
| lol Simon takes awhile for his character development, but given his age, that's understandable. Also bc of his tragic past with his parents. Mmmnnnn. Not really feeling the KaminaXYoko yet. I'll remain indifferent about it for now. She liked him way too fast hahhaha |

It got better, but then I stopped enjoying it after one of the minor characters died. I thought it was just ok at best |
| The combine scene was awesome, Kamina is so cool, Its really enjoyable. Lets see how their journey goes now. Great Episode. |

| Yoko shooting that grape hippo made me laugh out loud. Arrow rifles should be a thing. His sword looked absurdly long this episode xD Yoko wants the D sooo bad. I wouldn't mind helping her with that. After all the glorious fanservice we've been exposed to, who wouldn't? His idea of combining mechs was so dumb that it worked. When I first saw the linking, I thought that Lagann drilled into Kamina. Gurren Lagann looks awesome af :o I guess that two heads really are better than one. That Beastman looked awfully human. Could they be a mutant subspecies from a new world? Good thing they fended off against him. Ron decided to tag along. Sassy~ Good thing Yoko caught along, because I couldn't handle the potential sausage fest that might happen when it's just them 3. And I couldn't live without her boobies x_x |

I completely agree with all that was said, except the part about dropping it. I probably won't drop it, but idk the Yoko x Kamina ship is really irritating me. Maybe it's because I'm really not a big fan of Kamina's personality whatsoever. Also, am I the only one that ships Yoko x Simon (when he gets better of course)???? Also, Simon is pissing me off haha. I know he'll probably become better later on, but as of right now, I hope he dies lol. |

| Still don't see the appeal with Kamina. He kind of annoys me. Yoko is my favourite thing about the show so far despite the bad shipping. With that said this episode was pretty good and I may think better about the anime after a couple more episodes but at the moment it's still an 8. |

| Looks like Yoko has the hots for Kamina. That guy was dangerous and he had a very powerful mech. I'm sure there will be even stronger enemies then him. Most likely at the base they discovered. Good then they were able to combine like that and become stronger. |

| This episode was a bit too all over the place for me, though it's great to see how the eponymous mecha was born at last! |
| And there is the title drop. Took 3 episodes but we finally have the mech in all of its glory. |
