| I had to make sure I wasn't watching Shingeki no Kyojin throughout this episode (seriously Mura's depiction is downright grotesque at times). And why didn't the shot of that one guy count? The ball clearly left his hand before the clock ran out. Or do they play with different rules or what? |
| It was a good episode as usual. But not really as good as I thought it would be. The Zone duel between Kagami and Aomine was way more entertaining for me to watch. Torrible said: I've been hearing about the anime ending in late March. That would mean the season would end at episode 25 (which would mean no Kise) but it was officially stated early on that there would be 26 episodes. So which is it? So, would 26 episodes mean Kise's match will be shown? I haven't read the manga, so I got no clue. That would be awesome, I love him. |

That's why some people complained about murasakibara being underwhelming. Sometimes I wonder if they do the planning on the fly, because they had enough time to adequately cover both matches, but they wasted so much of the 1st cour on the kiyoshi/hyuuga bromance angle. Without a doubt, the two matches of this season shouldve been tooh vs seirin and yosen vs. seirin. But they wasted so much time hyping up kirisaki daichi that it ate up the entire 1st cour. Mashing three GOM matches where we all see something new (skills) should have never been mashed into only 13 episodes for the second cour. You're right it can be done and it's a good logical place for the season 2 to end, but 1.5 episodes wouldn't be doing it any justice. The 3 chapters per episode pace for the Daiichi match was alright. The next 2 matches are rushed as hell. They had to take away like 20% of the dialogue in those matches. Had they gone the normal route, we wouldn't have the Yosen match and this season would be underwhelming, so I don't exactly blame them for that. They could have rushed the Daiichi match but that would give us at most an extra episode. Don't know how much that would help. A theory I have is that they deliberately rush the matches, to give it an authentic match feel -- trim out all the 'extraneous' exposition, make it more like a real ongoing game we are watching. There's good and bad to it, I suppose. |

| Damn, Teppei crying :( ..protecting the teammates and getting protected. His thinking and his actions, that's what makes him the best character in this show..at least for me. Well Murasakibara knocking 3 players at once felt ridiculous but maybe that's because of his huge body. He says basketball is boring but his reflexes and his desire to 'crush' the other players suggest the complete opposite. |

| Not necessarily relevant to this episode, but Riko really is a shit coach for letting injured players play just because they beg her to, Teppei in particular. His condition is pretty serious and letting him constantly push his body to its limits could have very grave consequences in the future. We know winning is important and all, but your player not risking ending up in a fucking wheelchair should be your primary concern. |

| I'm really loving Kuroko no Basket in general, but I'm not really enjoying this match all that much. Murasakibara is not really interesting. The matches against Aomine, Kise, and Midorima were crazy awesome but this one is just dragged. |
