| Goddamnit, if they call the series Murciélago and feature the car prominently they should at least draw it better. At this point the car's the only thing keeping me interested in this manga. | This manga is schizophrenic. It's trying to be funny, action, gore, yuri, and possibly other things. The movement of the characters through the terrain is chaotic and never really served a purpose. The big plan to take down the bad guy was extremely stupid, and it could have been executed on the third page of this chapter. I don't see how going to a place that is physically like a ring is necessary when he was clearly hallucinating in being in a ring already. There were so many monster attacks these last two chapters, that the way the main character took the bad guy down felt anti-climatic. There is no cohesion between the diverging parts, and it makes these first two chapters pretty boring to read. I know I'll keep on reading this because I don't drop manga, but I hope the mangika improves as this goes on. I think better focus will improve this manga. |
