| Okay episode. I let out a big sigh when they showed almost the same filler-flashback as in the previous episode. Sasuke talking about all his "attacks" etc was lame, but it followed the manga so whatever. |

| pretty epic episode. At least the pace wasn't bad (besides the re-hashed flahback). animation i really have no complaining... the only difference i see between animation is during the crazy fight scenes (like with hidan and kakuzu vs shikamaru + kakashi). There wasn't really any of that in this episode. I like this arc a lot, i think naruto shippuden is finally getting back on the pace it was before. |
| I'm not exactly sure how Deidara was able to make such a large explosion though. Since he was out of chakra, was it just like his necessary for life chakra that he used in the explosion? |

| Now for someone that watches only the anime this might seem like a pretty good episode but for me who saw this on the manga it was a disappointment especially the first part of the episode. Reading this battle in the manga seemed awesome. Now when you take that and put colors,sounds and live movement and you make it look worse, then something is wrong. I imagine the anime version being made a lot better from what i saw. Also when you see a few colors images of the manga they seemed so much more awesome. The colors the art the sound(no cool sound effect except that chidori thing) and even the animation suck so much in Naruto anime that spoil the events going on in the screen. Just look how more awesome this looks. And tell me how different the world of Naruto would seem and sound in your mind. More dark and impressive that's for sure. As you can see even the black white images seem cooler. Just imagine how cooler would have been with better coloring(wtf was with all that light?) artwork, sound and staff. |

| Lol this fight is good., Deidara is trying so hard even to blow himself up, But so far Sasuke's been 1 step ahead of him. But Who Knows what'll happen next. Can't Wait For The Next Episode. :D 4/5. |

| I sure hope that's the end of Deidara this time. I can't stand him. Go Sasuke! ^_^ I actually enjoyed and needed Sasuke's explanation of how he evaded Deidara's attacks. Not all of us like reading the manga. ^_~ |

| I don't see why people have a doubt that Sasuke is dead! I don't read the manga, but do you really think Sasuke would be killed off now! Moving to the actuall episode, I will admit the animation was not as good as the previous, but they did not really fight so no point in wasting money on stationary and chit chat! There was a lot of logic as to how he escaped, figured out Deridara's weakness etc. Really liked that, that is the other good aspect of Naruto, there is logic. Next episode looks good, the story is finally becoming enticing! |

I really liked episode 123, unlike you said it had great great animation. They hired the team that did episode 85, the only other well animated episode. Although reading of course, more detail, and its way easier to make a picture look good (As you can imagine the story) then tbh this. Unless you have a good animating team, and enough episodes to not leave small things out And of course Sasuke is not dead |

| Poor Deidara. He was so insane. ): I used to really like him... but the mouth thingy on his chest just freaked me out. Obviously Sasuke didn't die though... Dei died in vain? Hmm. I was -seriously- disappointed when they showed the same flashback as the one in the last episode. -_- The animation was okay, but the last episode's animation was GREAT, this time it was just like meh. I hope it's better in the next ep. |
