DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I love the part where Kanon and Marin are stretching, it's hilarious especially Kanon's expression^^ Marin doesn't even look like she's feeling any pain :) But it's good to see them both having a good friendship, so hope it stays that way :D |

| This was a good episode, but somehow the character animation seemed different to me. Not better or worse, just different. And now we've got two more evil sea-girls popping up. Gawd, this show give me Sailor Moon vibes, and it isn't even shoujo. <L> |

| Sure hope there will be vectors of Kanon-chan by the bridge in that rain scene popping up. Simply one of the most beautiful moments! If this anime was a romcom and/or had a better plot and/or wasn't so overlooked, surely Kanon-chan would become a hot favorite. Cannot wait for them to save Kojima and let Kanon-chan confess. =3 |

| hmm i am glad they gave the return of her powers ample time. it would have been lame if she got her powers back during the first half the episode. it seems like this time its people from the surface who are getting turned. on another note. people have really underrated this show. its at least above a seven. |

| As a Sailor Moon fan, I just don't see the comparison. This is not anywhere near being compared to Sailor Moon. I am enjoying the evolving story of Kanon-chan being honest with herself and confronting (letting out) her feelings. Very cute and tender story line going on here. |

| The explanation of the Island Song was well done, I thought... And the yoga part was funny. :) I thought this was a really nice episode. I wonder what type of sea creatures those red, Sedna's minions are? |
| That episode was done very well =) I was really content with it. It tied up some loose strings, brought about some revelations and Kojima became very likeable. |

| The cold open for this episode has Sedna's voice addressing Urin as the "Priestess of Darkness". Looks like Urin will get some powers of her own after all. This was a good episode that further develops Kanon as a character, as we learn more about her childhood history with Suzuki, how she and Kojima met, and even when they started going out with each other. We also learn the meaning of the Island Ballad, which was very nice, and the montages of Urin and Marin together while the song's melody is being played with a violin instrumental, Kanon's singing, and Kojima explaining the meaning was just as good. There were also some funny parts as Kanon nearly fails at yoga and Marin still calls Kojima "flounder" instead of "boyfriend" haha. Marin and Kanon are able to transform again—just in time when some new monster of the week enemies show up to try and kill Kojima. But will they be able to save him? When the sunlight shines down, a shadow forms behind you. While there are smiles in the light, sorrow also dwells in the deep shadows. That day when the light vanished, your shadow also vanished, and I was left all alone. Who is to blame for our parting? Yet the sea and the sky touch each other, even as they waver, and they cannot be sundered. That day will surely come again, because we are as one. If the wind and the waves and the clouds and the trees bind the two of us together, then the day will come again, without fail, when I can bask in your boundless smile. |
