| Agree with all of those assessments except that the second one was funny. It wasn't to me. I didn't say they were the same, I said it only attempted to do one thing (per episode, my fault for being ambiguous) and didn't do them successfully. I also said that overall it was aimless and unfocused, which I don't think can be argued. No, I didn't find it stylish or exciting. Fast paced? Yes, you kind of have to be when you have about 12 minutes worth of content to cover. Dogs did action in 4 generic fashions that did not feel thought-out or fresh, with cardboard characters (except maybe the old guy from the first episode) and it didn't look impressive. Maybe I'm missing something that was in the manga that has everyone going nuts, but it wasn't here in the anime, my perceived tastes be damned. |

But ratings for a single show don't exist in a vacuum. If I agree with you, then I come to the conclusion that at most 5 percent of the anime ever made is non-generic. (Which, granted, is true, if you're strict enough) And even less if you take a shoujo, romance-heavy list. It's the same problem I have with someone who were to give Code Geass a higher rating than Death Note. I can understand, if disagree with, a low rating for the latter, but a high rating for the former at the same time? No. That's why...I think the real reason you despised this series is so much is that it had too much of the "hot-blooded shounen" archetype you always rail against. You can't fool me! |

That could be true, but there are exceptions to the "hot blooded shounen" archetype that I have scored high (I think 8+ is high)...and I really do think that if you look at my list it isn't shoujo/romance centric. I think it's pretty all over the place. But I haven't really counted. And no, I don't understand giving Geass a higher rating than Death Note in any way. That show didn't really do anything as well as Death Note. |

| I really enjoyed this series. Haven't read the manga so I am not sure how it compares to it, but this series was good. The ending was a bitter sweet one I guess. |

| The only thing I didn't like about it was that they censored Haine getting shot pretty bad. In the manga a huge pool of blood ame out when he was shot with a shotgun out the window. I really liked how well they animated the OVAs in look of the manga, and I really hope a full series will be in order. |

| This episode wasn't as near good as the last one, but still it was OK. The atmosphere and the feeling I got while I watched it were nice. 1. Characters. +1 - This anime hardly would get point for anything else than characters if it doesn't get any here. I think most of the characters were OK and Naoto, and her sensei were just exceptional - no more I could ask for. 2. Atmosphere. +1 - The atmosphere was really on times so I'll give a point here. 3. OST. - Not really point can be given here. Nothing special about it. 4. Animation. +1 - Yeah it was really OK, it's nothing less than what I expected. 5. Background story. +1 - All the stories were background to start with, right? I liked them, especially Naoto's. 6. Storyline. +1 - Look at #5. 7. Ending(s). +1 - The ending at ep 3 was good enough to get score for the OVA overall. 8. Fight scenes. +1 - They were really well done. 9. Drama. +1 - Look at #7. 10. Overall feeling. +1 - It was good enough for such a short episodes. Bonus(extra) point for:... Overall score: 9/10. |

| OK so Badou really is a friggin' psycho, I didn't believe it the first time but it seems he's regular...uhmm psycho. LOL And his friend Heine even more so. The blind priest is a really interesting character in his own way. LOL Then Heine's guns being in the church reminds me of the Church of Violence in Black Lagoon. XD 8/10 for the entire series, I wish there were more but till then... fuck up, gentlemen. |

| Enjoyable short little series, loved the comedy here and there. However, leaving it there is wasting a lot of potential so hopefully they will redo it one day. 5/10 maybe 6 |
| Was enjoyable for the short watch, but there was a lot of potential that seems to have been completely wasted. I can't complain about any of the characters, they all had their story and for the most part, the action was pretty decent. 7/10, but it'll always bug me how much the show could have been if it was more than just a short 4 ep OVA. |

| This needs a series. Maybe it's not as good as Baccano! but it's already better than Durarara!!. Anyway, also a 7/10. Really liked the first two episodes. Third one was a big meh from me and last one was alright. Haine was my favourite though. [s]Can't go wrong with Sakurai Takahiro <3 |

| While I love Hiene, Nill is my baby and it hurt to see her get abused all over again. I always liked how Hiene and Nill interacted with him being like a protective big brother to her. While the anime was nice and it was cool to see some of my favorite characters animated, I feel like it was much too short and should have been longer so it doesn't feel as rushed....oh well though, at least we got something. |

| Loved this episode. The 3rd one wasn't good, so it was great to see that the finale was good. Heine is very cool! The main reason why I started watching this show is Heine Rammsteiner. I read from somewhere that he was named after Rammstein. And since that is my favorite band, I had to see this. <3 |

| I felt this OVA was introducing characters instead of telling a full story, but nonetheless it was great that I am begging for more. I still need to know Heine's full story( judging by that blonde bastard in the end) and how will Naoto find her parents killers. 8/10. |

| After rewatching these OVAs don't quite hold up from what I remember. Just character introductions anyway so no story progression. First was average and second was just comic relief silliness. The latter two eps were better, Haine and Naoto interested me more. Still nothing spectacular but I think I'll drop my score a tad from 8 to a 7/10. |
