Depends if I have friends who watch certain animes and discuss together and the season. Don't have too much friends that watch ongoing animes now and the spring 2014 season's pretty crappy except for a few. So maybe I'm shrinking to about 3 ongoing and focus on other drama (kdrama, english shows, etc)

I've always... always been watching you... This whole time... Because you were there... That's why I was able to try hard. So you could have some balance! So you wouldn't treat me like a kid! So you would see me as an actual girl! Even while you were gone... You were right here! You were right here in my heart!

Since I don't watch any airing anime (expect One Piece and Naruto) anymore because I don't want to wait a weak + watch it in bad quality I only watch finished ones.
Mostly I watch 2 at the time, sometimes 3 (if you include the long series then it's max. 5 at a time)

I can't really afford the time to watch a load at the time so for me it's usually 2 - 3. Though at the moment I have a lot on hold and I tend to watch more anime that's already finished because I can't be bother to wait.
Having said that I usually watch one ongoing anime.

Everytime a new season comes out, I try to pick every show, so I think I watch between 20 and 30 by season. I don't have trouble remembering what's going on in every show so it's fine with me. Also, I try to watch some series already finished.

25-40 series if they're currently airing,if they're not airing 1 at a time till I complete then start a new one.

Depends. Older non airing anime I watch one at a time. Though I do take breaks and stop watching an anime.

Airing anime, watch as many as I can find that I like or peak my interest.

around 4 to 8 curently airing animes per season. I try to keep that in that number becuase I usually forget what's happening on the series if I watch too many anime. I also occasionally watch 1 to 3 finished airing animes on top of the currently airing animes that I watch per season.

10-20, usually currently airing anime. However I want to start watching a little less, around 5-12, because lately I haven't had as much time as before, and I have other hobbies I like just as much.

I usually pick around 10 airing shows to watch, plus 1 or 2 finished shows. Though I might pick up more in a few weeks when summer break starts.

Not counting aired ones, i start just one series and finish it before starts something new.

Same with me. Currently airing ones I only watch once a week so it's manageable. I tend to like to watch just one series that is already finished so that I can focus on it the most. Can't say I have ever watched two finished series concurrently. Same for me with tv shows and whatnot.

Usually 1 or 3.

But then feelings get confused.

So it's best to watch one at a time to get a full experience.

Not counting airing ones, currently I only watch one at a time.

Before, I used to choose two or three and alternate between them but it didn't work because I usually ended up liking one better and finishing it and never getting around to the other ones.

..I really don't limit myself. I can watch up to 15 things if I really want to. If there are enough things airing that i want to watch, I will watch them all, even though I'll probably fall behind on a lot of them. I usually watch series that are airing + at least one series that isn't that I can watch whenever I have caught up on everything.

Right now, i have 11 shows on "watching". That's the lowest i ever had since joining MAL. Normally, it's around 25 to 30.
In 9/10 cases, the worst thing about an anime is its fandom.

I have around 30-40 that I have started. But at the moment I'm activately watching only one. I have tried to complete them so I would only have 1 but I always start a new one. And then there's also the thing that I don't want them to end so I have many shows that have like 1-2 episodes left to watch.

I need help !!

Right now I'm trying this plan:

MAXIMUM 5 Completed shows that last around 11-27 episodes each.

As for new weekly shows or longrunners (Like Rurouni Kenshin or any show with 50+ episodes) - no limit.

I watch maximum 4 episodes a day. Right now I have 7 shows on my "Watching" list: 5 old shows, Rurouni Kenshin and trying to catch up with Nisekoi.

50-60 series, depending on how many are airing.

Maximum 3 Completed Sports Anime (Under 100 episodes if more than one)
Maximum 2 Reverse Harem/BL Anime
Maximum 40 Airing Series (Not including shorts)

I like to only watch one at a time as it's easier to just finish one, then move on to another. I'll watch 2 if one of them is airing and the other one is completed. I can just watch one episode a week every time an episode airs and watch the other one anytime. I'll watch 3 as well, but only one anime must be completed and the others have to be airing. So it's actually as many as long as only of them is completed. Though most of the time it's usually 1 or 2.
