| It brings back a lot of childhood memories! It's as cute as ever. I never understood the transition screens. For such a short pre-show, I always thought it was really distracting, even as a kid xD 5/10 |

| Loved the rivalry between Pickachu and Raichu, also we get to see Pickachu's and Meowth's new design. Animation and art style was great compared to the regular episodes that were airing at the time. (Indigo League) |

| This is my first ever exposure to Pokemon, and its on VCD, and in Cantonese dub. and grew up with the songs Natsuyasumi Fanclub, and Pika Pika Massai chu as the ops and eds of the episode. first i remember watching this is when I was only 3. |
| This one of pokemon episodes that I never watched in its americanized version, because Hong Kong people don't really localize anime the same way Americans do it, because Hong Kong loves japanese culture so much they keep every part of the original japanese version of Pokemon and only change the voices. I grew up with the cantonese dub because I use to own a VCD from the Hong Kong disc company Universe, of Pikachu's Vacation. as a US born HK person early childhood, i never anything outside the cantonese language. |
