So she is a masochist... she should have killed him earlier. No reason to pass through anything... we don't need to be threaten by a serial killer in order to learn to sacrifice and to love.

... Yeah... Again I'll say that you should watch the movie one or two more times, maybe all of the movies. And try try grasp the plot.

The last hour of the 7th movie is just stupid... it doesn't change regardless of the times I watch it.

A little complaint here, after all this time, all they did was hugging, no kiss scene. :(

No kisses, no sex... nothing.
Shiki: I want the key of your apartment *blushes*
lol wtf she blushes about??? It's like shounen. The romance in these movies is for 10 years old kids. On the other hand they overdo it with the violene.

Am I the only who thinks that there was actually a kiss in this installment?

Right at the very end of the movie, after the part where it shows the date of when the movie took place, something more happened with the hug scene between Mikilya and Shiki. It only show from the shoulders down though.

You can seee Mikiya hold Shiki tighter and Shiki's upper half of her body moved in close.

Many people do not realize that scene.

I like the last movie not so much as the novel but still remains a good adaptation I hope to see soon the epilogue.

This is the one film that actually goes into the details of Mikiya and Shiki and their relationship. We actually get some real focus on them instead of the tsudenere crap that was just touched upon here and there in the other movies.

It was good in some aspects. I mean I finally understood why Shiki can "kill anything" once Aozaki explained about the concept of reincarnation with the point of origin. We saw what happened with that part 2 stuff and the whole dual personality with Shiki and why he/she was so crazy about Mikiya.

But Mikiya makes no sense. I get he's a normal dude (well not really I mean he survived getting beaten in Movie 5 and survived all that crap in movie 7.) and just wants to be regular but some of the stuff he does is not logical or realistic. One can argue that he was infatuated with Shiki and already in love with her and love makes you do crazy things but it still seems weird. Camping out on someone's hosue to prevent them from going around killing things? Trying to seek help for some crazy guy that a Class A mage tells you is unsavable? All at the expense of his and his friend's health. Guy is too weird. And look what it got him...Shiki STILL killed that freak and he has a bad leg and one eye (dude get an eyepatch or a glass eye not a fucking bad comb over)

The drool scene was weird and I thought Lio was trying to infect her with the parasite or whatever that he had in his body but apparently it was just CG drool. I don't think people can drool that much but ok. Speaking of parasites they showed Lio spazzing out in the first encounter and talking about how he doesn't have much time and yet nothing happens later on. He just dies very easily. I'm assuming that was an after effect of all his past lives existing at once but I can only speculate.

And I still don't get why Aozaki didn't go and help them. I get she plays the part of the old wise leader that is pretty powerful but never gets off her ass and she does it in an endearing and likable way but still it was weird in this aspect cause this case seemed rather personal. Maybe that's why she didn't get involved. And what was up with her leaving? When she was talking to Mikiya's sister (who is also weird with her incest fetish)?

The mystery played out well. It wasn't super confusing like Paradox Spiral (who's non linear style and expositonal dropping of various concepts made it lolwut) but still worth putting clues and thinking about stuff as well as drawing from past episodes.

The music was godly as always. The fights were meh. I think past movies did a better job.

And did Shiki really bite her thumb off? Why didn't she just take off her fake arm or break it off? You could always get another one. And didn't her arm have powers? I remember in the first movie it could do some DevilMayCry4/Jojo's Bizarre Adventure esque type things when it grabbed that ghost girl.

In the end the series was pretty much a supernatural love story like Twilight but you know good. 7 out of 10.

You fail at understanding what these movies mean.

If you didn't get what others have been telling you, you pretty much just stick with Twilight rubbish and Narutard shit.

I don't like Twilight or Naruto!!! Yeah I know... Code Geass sucks compared to KNK.
Sorry for thinking that a long term adult romantic relationship is too weird without kisses or other stuff...

Yes kisses and sex make the stories deep and mature like school days and Love Hina. ¬¬

I do not remember in the movie or novel where he mentions Shiki and Kokuto as a couple.

You know, in Asian country, a romance can proceed without a kiss... It's just a culture difference.

Still... I don't like this. I was expecting a seinen romance-action anime. I didn't saw any "real romance" for hours... damn.

Overall Kara no Kyoukai had a Kick-ass soundtrack, fluent animation, likable characters and weak plot (Which I didn't mind.)
7-8/10 One of the few animes I would buy or watch in theaters (mostly because of the action.)

I am very disappointed in you certain people.

The LAST thing on my mind after having to kill a crazy ass serial killer who semi-raped me with his drool would be kissing.

The LAST thing on my mind after being kissed by a dude, forced to take drugs, being stabbed in the leg and having my eye slashed out would be kissing.

You people can't be serious.

Their relationship was no where NEAR romantic. If they had kissed during that scene, I would have fawking raged because it would have made NO SENSE. Now would NOT have been the time to fricking profess your love to ANYONE. Instead, it was a "thank god you're still alive, I won't let you go, it's over" hug which I found to be amazing and not selfish.

No doubt, they certainly grew closer but if anything, it was just the beginning of their relationship as obviously seen from the ending. Shiki held his hand, not dropped everything and "glomped" him the moment he came out. She didn't even visit him while he was in the hospital.

Someone please tell me how a kiss would have been appropriate cause I'm just not seeing it and I'm tired of people throwing a damned fit over something so shallow, sorry.

That was quite enjoyable. Sad it's over but I love how they ended it. Would have liked to see a kiss though! D:

Overall 8/10 for me.

this move was so awesome the music was awesome the fight scenes were great and by the end of the movie i really liked Lio shirazumi even though he is an asshole who licked Shiki all over and Stabbed Kokuto in the face but damm he is tough he survived that really strong drug being stabbed in the leg and in the face poor him at the end of the movie with no left eye >.<
Shiki was awesome in this movie and the all the events that led to finding out who the homicidial maniac was kept me really engaged ^_^
i liked the ending song and the last scene where Shiki says she wanted Kokutos hand instead of a knife :)
10/10 for me this movie was really really great :D

I am disappointed in this last installment.

What's with Mikiya being alive after he swallowed something that was supposed to be 10 times more lethal than the original drug? Didn't Lio said he will die within an hour if he didn't consume the red packet thingy? >.<

Better than this one was the 5th one, but in my opinion this one was very close to 5.

I have one little teeny tiny thing bothering me which I noticed after my third time watching this... who is Shizune after the credits Mikiya is talking about a girl called Shizune who told him not to get involved with Shiki.
"------and she said.
If you accept everything, you won't be hurt. Everything you disagree with, everything you hate, and everything you can't acknowledge. If you can accept them without resisting, then you won't be hurt. If you deny everything, you will be hurt. Everything you agree with, everything you like, and everything you can acknowledge. If you can only deny it, then you'll be hurt."

Yes. What's with everyone wanting kiss porno?

Amazing movie, and while not perfect, it had a geat finale to this story. If there's something I'll never forget about the KnK saga was the mindblowing soundtrack and animation. I consider this last installment to be the second best of the 7, especially because of the beautiful ending, it would be almost impossible to surpass the masterpiece that was the 5th anyway. 9/10 from me.

Also, I was kind of disappointed with this one, not as much action in it than any of the other films. I still like the 5th a lot better.

Woh, how to butcher a great show in only 2 hours. Did you guys really like this movie? They left all the yandere out, and replaced it with moral-faggotry and bad romance. 'If you will kill this insane serial killer that tries to rape you, I will not forgive you' and after shiki killed that guy: 'Yeah, it's ok, I'll carry your sins'. srsly, what is this shit?

Hmm sort of disappointed by the plot here, most of it felt like a ShikixKokuto thing, but the action, animation and the soundtrack was beautiful as ever.
And the lack of Aozaki and Azaka was disappointing too ;\

I did WANT them to kiss but, the scene after the credits was pretty nice with all the Sakura :)

Holy hell this was an intense movie. Last 20-30 ish minutes definitely had my adrenaline pumping, and the beautiful peaceful ending helps put everything into perspective. And not to mention the fight animations are dance-like, fluid and gorgeous as ever ^_^

Oh and I definitely agree with whoever says that the hug was sufficient. A kiss would have sexual connotations, and I didn't get that vibe from Shiki and Mikiya.

Overall, outstanding finale to a great series. 10/10

One thing I want to know is how the heck Lio could drool that much. It was like there were buckets of the stuff coming out of his mouth... Ugh.

The first fourth was kind of slow to me since the epilogue of the 6th movie pretty much tells you who the villain for this movie is going to be even if the descriptions don't quite match. The final fight was a little underwhelming too, especially compared to one from the last movie, but eh, the build up made up for it. Lio was all kinds of crazy.

Seeing so little of Touko made me sad. And after her being all badass two movies ago too... :(

The last 20 minutes or so were awesome, though. I really like the "Earn Your Happy Ending" type of finales, and KnK didn't disappoint. I liked the hug scene too. A kiss would've been a bit much for those two, but the hug was sweet.

Anyway, it was a pretty good finale. 8/10.

The beginning film and ending was meant for them just to hold hands.. I was really hoping for the director to at least made them kiss each other after all they've been through
BUT NOO... lol anyway

*How did Mikiya and Ryougi got each other key's when this is the continuation of Movie 2 and the key was featured at Movie 5 [minor detail]
*Shiki waking up in the middle of the night - look disappointed??
*Saliva-man eeww quite E--
*The most dramatic movie among the others
*Mikiya tortured and stuff.. and still swear not to kill Lio - LiOL

**Shiki got her left thumb back - hurray and Mikiya lost his Left eye - Banzai

9/10

(I've never liked this kind of genre, I was tempted to watch the whole series by how the user rated it.. it was a bloody experience for me, but I got it all undercontrol.. but some are still quite disturbing)
