I can tell he is struggling quite a bit too though. Ouch...that cut on his eye looks painful. Great OST as usual and the action was awesome. Takamura really needs to go all out if he wants to win. |

| Well the fight won't be as interesting as the first one for me after thinking about it. The build up to it is nothing like what we saw in new challenger but it's still the best part of this season. |

T^T So intense :D Loving their ruined hair now XD They're a mess but I love Takamura's hair when it's ruined during his fights. Eagle is looking like a super saiyan now XD Loved the moment Takamura was pissed after saying Eagle's fighting style is just like Ippo and how he now knows how all Ippo's opponents feel hahaha XD Can't wait for the conclusion. Awesome fight so far :D The OST was amazing too doubled the epicness ^^ |

| its been a decent fight , but im not as excited as i was with takamura v hawk the build up to it was just amazing and you really wanted hawk to get smashed , still another great epsiode as usual |
| I love Eagle,hes the best world champion out of the ones we've met. This has to be the best fighting anime i've seen,by far. OST fucking ruled. Slight pissed at Takamura for abusing that cut,though wasnt expecting him to leave it alone. What can i say,1 week wait is killing people. This anime keeps topping itself the more seasons it has. |

| Nah this fight isn't as good as the Hawk fight, which is one of the best of the series, it had a grudge involved and all so there's more impact to the fight in general than this one. This is no doubt a good fight, but yeah it's going by quicker than I was expecting. At the same time, I'm more than happy for them to skip through a bit since they are showing the Kamogawa flashback for the final 4 episodes, which is really good. |

| Damn the animation really dropped for most of the episode (same with the previous). Ippo looked like Umezawa in a lot of shots.... The fight isn't really what I expected. Doesn't really have to do with lack of build-up, imo the Hawk fight had TOO MUCH, but Eagle just isn't an interesting guy. One thing I always like about sports shows is that we can get into the mind of the characters. Eagle has been silent for most of the fight, keeping to himself and only saying a couple lines here and there. He's staying super focused, even in his head, I guess, which is boring. Maybe the end will be better. I always love when they play that Pay money To my Pride song in the background though. | Great episode, the OST was great and the match was really engaging. Surprisingly, I found myself supporting for Eagle even though Takamura is one of my favourite character. Also, if next week is gonna be the end of this match I expect at least another big one before the end of this season, but from the opening it doesn't seem like there's gonna be another one... |

| Well yeah decent fight but i guess it's obvious by now that this fight isn't on the level of the Hawk fight. Eagle is too much of a nice guy to raise the feelings and he doesn't have any crazy tricks like Hawk. Also his fight is shorter and he seem to have the ability to take a lot less than Hawk who was a brawler. Norsixa said: Great episode as always from Hajime no Ippo. But, my biggest con is, they cut out so much of other dialogue and other stuff. For me, its starting to tear down the value of the series :/ I agree on this. The things they show are still good but they threw lots of things under the bus. |
