| It has similarities to a few anime I've seen but this is probably one of the more original harem anime. I like the characters so far so I'll keep on watching. |

| People don't understand that this is the original OVA animation or what? Either way coming from the 2005 TV series this sure was interesting to see, and I must say I was quite amazed by the quality of the OVA brought in the year it was released, it had also a much better pacing than the 2005 version and in general pretty lovely character introduction and development! Let's see what the next 5 episodes and the movie have to offer us. |

| Starting this after finishing the second season of the TV series... amazing how much better it feels! It took me back to the beginning of the TV series, and really reminded me why I fell in love with the series in the first place. I'm not saying the TV series eventually got bad or anything, but there is something special about this dynamic right at the beginning that got lost over the course. |

| Animation was weird only for like 5 minutes or so, then got used to it.. And it's actually quite enjoyable show.. ;p At least, first episode.. I wonder, how Belldandy feels about this relationship herself.. She's the proper type of woman or something, I guess.. Maybe she also stalked.. ahem.. I meant, watched over (;p) Keiichi before or something, so maybe she has opinion on him as a person from there, and that's why she is being the way she is?.. That drinking party at the shrine.. Yeah, lets just casually have something like that at a shrine.. ... lol.. ;p And the second episode is going to be a beach episode already?.. ;p I'm not against, heh.. ;p Em, I mean.. Well.. This OVA series is very short and something, so it's just type of show in general about some life stuff, like slice of life, comedy, something like that.. Anyway, whatever this is, I think I had fun at first episode.. Old animation also reminds me of slice of life bits in Rurouni Kenshin.. It's just relaxing and fun at times.. ;p |

| To clarify for MAL users, this is NOT a recap, it’s a loosely adapted anime OVA version of the story made back when the 40+ volume manga series was barely getting started in the mid 1990s. The TV series & Fighting Wings OVA follow up more accurately depicts the manga up to the ‘Angel Eater Arc’. My main complaint is that with the manga now completed, I wish they would adapt the rest of it into another couple of seasons and do a finale film based on the Wedding Arc that closed out the manga story. |
