I'm not really bias for any genre of anime, but I am bias against nearly all ecchi anime. I tend to dislike the ecchi genre since it's usually accompanied by a shit plot and a poor lack of character development.

Biased for thriller, horror, mystery, supernatural, psychological, drama, & black comedy.
Against harem, ecchi, slice of life, unfunny comedies, and any moe-based anime.

I have concluded that there is absolutely nothing enjoyable or decent in this category, everything tends to be nightmare fuel, this anime/manga will ruin your whole day, or something that shouldn't see the light of day.

I don't mind and sometimes enjoy:

I generally don't care forthe following, especially those marked with a *:

There are, of course, exceptions to every rule.
-animeS - The plural of anime is anime. More than one deer is still deer. There is no damn "s".
-epic |ˈepik| noun•a work portraying heroic deeds/adventures covering an long period of time - adjective • heroic/grand in scale or character

I'm almost always against action animes (amazing alliteration).
Unless it has another outstanding factor. I don't understand the interest in watching animated action....it's fake, anyone can draw action. If I wanted to see action in a show or movie I'd watch real action. Great dialog and interesting character interactions and personalities take actual talent to produce.
With that being said I enjoy the Slice-Of-Life/Humor shows.

I'm seriously biased against shounen, but then sometimes I randomly love it like with Scryed or FMA. (I don't consider things like Code Geass or a lot of action/ mecha shows as shounen because stuff like that is obviously aimed at a wider audience than just teenage boys)

Biased entirely against anything yaoi, yuri, or anything that feels the need for excessive fanservice every 3 seconds. It just feels insanely awkward to me. Not to mention that a plot is generally absent.

I'm biased towards shounen and psychological anime - preferably a combination of the two. The more it messes with your mind, the better!

Well, I could say I like anything that has a little bit of romance (but not the very dramatic one - 'shoujo', I'm looking at you!), action oriented maybe and psychological ones. The ones I'm completely against are yaoi and sports. The rest 'genres' are watchable from my POV.

I'm really biased against all those anime they deal with homosexuality or crossdressing.
I feel uncomfortable watching it.

And I tend to rate stuff really highly if it's a Slice-of-Life or romance I can relate to, the ratings just sky rocket.

Harems because the ones I've watched have been horribly predictable and they've just left a bad impression on me overall.
Series with outright lolicon/shotacon makes me feel uncomfortable for various reasons, so I'd say I'm definitely biased against them. It takes some very, very, very strong writing to make me watch something with that in.

I'm generally biased against the shoujo genre in general. The scene where some main character guy pops in and is surrounded by flowers and sparkles and whatnot is a staple of all of them.

I generally watch every genre, but I usually like to look for shows that make me think or reflect on myself, like shows in the seinen genre. Otherwise it's sci-fi, mecha and military, with a little comedy on the side.

I am a lot more likely to watch and enjoy anime which are dark and have psychological elements. Homoeroticism also increases my enjoyment of something.

I am really not interested in watching harems and reverse harems. Maybe it is because it focusses too much on heterosexual romance (is homosexual). I am also not interested in pure comedies. There has to be at least some level of drama.

I don't like classic fantasy (for ex. Slayers). Also, normal life and romance, if the anime not contains anything except that.

So yeah, what genre or type of anime are you more likely to like regardless of whether it is actually good or not? And vice versa. Example, you like romantic comedies, harem shows or you are just biased against anything to do with mecha.

I like to say I can watch anything but I think I'm biased against comedies in general. I can watch and enjoy things that have a mix of comedy and drama, like Ouran, One Piece and etc. but not random shows that focus almost completely on the comedic aspect (like Azumanga Daioh). I'm the type of person who likes watching drama (even if a number of people can't see the reason for liking a bunch of emos and angsty teens whine and cry about stuff, haha).

Would love fantasy & adventure, actually a little bit of everything in one series too. I don't like mecha, I think it overwhelmed me with too much war, killing, nudity, & machines. I don't like any genre that is 90% of that type only.

Being more specific in my preferences to liking an anime:
If you give me a romance, specifically targeted at males, with my type of idealistic girl, I will rate it 9/10 or over, merely because the character is so lovely, and I can imagine her characteristics in a real girl.
I can get really latched onto things.
If you've seen my fave chars list, you'd realize by looking at my fave chars, they're all girls which are love interests within their respective stories.

I prefer fantasy/supernatural styled anime because that genre has the most anime that fit my taste.
Watch your thoughts they become your words.
Watch your words they become your actions.
Watch your actions they become your habits.
Watch your habits it becomes who you are.
Watch who and what you are it determines your Fate.
