I don't think that I have hated a character as much as Scythe Master since School Days. Although, I will admit- his character is quite intriguing. I won't let my hatred for him blind me from that fact. ![]() |

I won't let my hatred for him blind me from that fact. Have to say I agree. It's amazing how much hate I have for this guy despite the small amount of air time he has. I'm really hoping he won't turn Cal against Reiji, but I'd bet money it's going to happen. ![]() |

just like the other recap episode, just kinda skimmed through 3/4 of it until maybe the last few minutes where scythe master came and took cal (what a dick) just hope there is a happy ending for Cal... all that she has been through, doesn't deserve to die, while yes Elen is superior in skill and ability, I still believe Cal's character as a whole has better personality and depth! ![]() |
why the hell did Reji NOT look for Cal? there was no proof she was in the apartment. This really makes me annoyed at Reji. Seriously. Why didn't he try to find her? Go back the apartment? Something? and here is Scythe as expected, now he gets to do those gross things to Cal that he did to Erin. Can Reji fucking brutally kill Scythe already? ![]() |
Another recap... but that end? SCYTHE MASTER YOU [CENSORED] [CENSORED] SON OF A [CENSORED] [CENSORED] [CENSORED] PILE OF [CENSORED]-- ![]() Never forget, that if you post a topic, you're not allowed to post in it yourself, by order of MAL administration. |
Man, I hate ScytheMaster so much. What an effective and well made villain. I totally see were this is going. ScytheMaster will train Cal to the fullest, make her a top assassin and then feed her that Reiji didn't kill Ein on purpose even though he knew she was her 'sisters' killer. And Cal will just go berserk. I get the feeling it'll end in tears no matter what. ![]() "Perhaps there is a universal, absolute truth. Perhaps it justifies every question. Damn, a half of the episode was recap. Man, Scythe should make his own creeper website showing hot girls taking a shower and shit he would make a fortune. That guy seems to be able to place cameras everywhere without people knowing. I really hope Cal doesn't believe what Scythe has to say to her but she probably will. That's the thing I hate most about anime characters why are they so easy to manipulate? Can't you think for yourself and make a logical conclusion based on the information that you're given? But oh no they'll just believe every word that's said to them even though it's a damn stranger (most of the time) telling them why the person they love/care about is bad. RAAAAAAGE! ![]() Modified by noturai, Oct 20, 2012 7:26 PM |
That was a pretty good sum of events of the second arc. Also, there were minor scenes included to connect everything together. Cal is alive as expected (FTW), but.... SCYTHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That guy just doesn't let up lol. I hate you but you're brilliant at creating drama and entertaining content and you've got one killer voice/sneer lmfao. Now this turn of events is definitely going to lead to a confrontation between Cal and Phantom in the future. The real question is what decisions will be made by both parties... this should be one amazing finale! 5/5 10/10 for the arc. Now the final arc is officially beginning. (Also, now that I've calmed down, Claudia's death was too subtle a topic... and wasn't covered by the flashback. It was very well done too, so it makes me wonder if we've really seen the last of her.) ![]() Modified by Shuda, Jan 4, 2013 9:27 AM |
CAL IS ALIVE!!!! YES! ![]() ![]() "I like to expose what people hide. I'm an intellectual rapist." - Furudo Erika |
Hm, another mainly flashback episode. No I still don't care about Cal. However, I do feel bad for her that she had to lose "two" people she loved in such a short time. That damn Scythe Master, he just wants to direct a "play." ![]() |
atty said: agreed. God dam money makers.Man, these flashbacks really aren't necessary for 26 episodes. ![]() |
Cal is alive... what a fucking surprise. Another boring recap episode with just enough new info added so you can't skip it. I hate this shit. In other news, Scythe Master is still scum. ![]() |
Ahhh, that good ol' devilish Scythe. So now it will be Reiji and Elen vs Cal and her Phantom? It look like Reiji really did know Elen after all. That's what it look like from the preview. And wow, Elen actually smilling, it truly is possible! xD ![]() «Time is passing so quickly. Right now, I feel like complaining to Einstein. Whether time is slow or fast depends on perception. another recap... anyway I knew she was alive!! and I know that the obvious thing is what would happen next... that fucking Scythe, being the scum of all the universe as he is would turn Cal's sadness into hatred towards Zwei...she will become an assassin too and her name would be... Drei.. I know it's ridiculous but I think that's whats gonna happen.. also knowing Cal is considered to be 1 of the 3 main characters including Ein and Zwei it makes sense.. It's Reiji's fault anyway.. leaving Cal behind and shit.. fucker.. ![]() Signature removed. Please follow the signature rules, as defined in the Site & Forum Guidelines. |
CAL IS STILL ALIVE! Damn right, she's really the saviour of this series! This episode was pretty much recap again other than the ending which was rather interesting, but yea now with that evil scientist gotten to Cal I really hope she won't follow the wrong path! ![]() |
well the almost all the episode was a recap, but in the happened something that we could see coming is scythe going to put cal against reiji? or just use her as leverage? ![]() |
They will give a Sherlock medal to the next person who will say "it was a recap." Scythe placing cameras everywhere without anyone noticing was pretty much bullshit. They try way too hard to make him omnipotent, scheming evil guy and in the process they throw the logic out the window, which makes the story lose its credibility. ![]() Modified by malonur, Aug 9, 2016 9:11 AM |
(rewatching) Nice to see the arc from a different perspective, plus filling in some blanks. Too bad half of it is recap. ![]() |
3/4 is one big pile of shitty recap. At least they put some new content at the end. ![]() "The future is always blank. Only your willpower can leave footsteps there." "Ruling over death means ruling over life. Death is the climax of life. To have the best death, you must honor life." |
Fucking Scythe..that motherfucker. Poor Cal is going to turn against Reiji..I hope she does not die. I don't want her to die. Why would Cal assume Reiji left her? Why would Reiji assume Cal was in there? Sometimes this show is frustrating because of stupid stuff like this... ![]() |
Damn, it is can not be more generic than this, can it ? I will really hate it if Cal really will hate Reiji 'just' because Schyte brainwashed her.. I would really love to see Cal bertrayed Schyte by herself.. Ein/Elen too, she should be the one who kill Schyte Master ... ![]() "The Slave is the have-not, the oppressed one with nothing to spare. Yeah, this was the most obvious thing to happen, in fact I had this in mind since Reiji noticed Cal's natural talent and I was afraid he would end up killing her. Well, there gotta be more to it or it would turn out completely different. ![]() One Piece episode 914 & 915 were a mistake and 957 was the salvation |
