| I will talk to them and asking questions about their favorite movies and what genre they generally like. If they say "I like Star Wars", throw in LoGH/Macross. If they say "I like Buffy, Throw Hellsing Ultimate at their faces Horror?Mononoke, Ghost Hunt Psycho-Thriller?Higurashi Mecha?Gundam Drama?NANA It works, at least for me. They still doesn't like anime, but they won't say that anime sucks anymore |

I could care less, if they don't like it then that's their problem, they don't know what they are missing. I had a situations that my friends asks me 'aren't you already too big to watch this thing' . No,i don't think i am too big for animes in case there are a lot of situations in which you can think ,relax or just laugh even in my little experience in anime |

| What used to piss me off was when people were commenting on me "watching kiddy cartoons". I'd just show them Elfen Lied or some other random guro just to shut them up. But i've given up now... everyone has the right to be ignorant i guess \o/. PS. people who know that there's anime with a higher target-age than 12 and till doesn't like it don't bother me at all. |

| People who are usually haters of anime is due to deep down inside they like it but they dont want to admit it. Also, people also assume that you have to be a geek into order to like anime. That is not true at all. Usually in high school there is that stereotype that the "popular" people label on other people. Anime to me is not something that you have to be a certain age group for. Anime genres appeal for various age groups unlike some American cartoon series. |

| yeah i was the same before i got into anime i probably wouldnt of even thought of watching different ones n stuff it was new to me. sometimes when im talking to my mum about what ive done over the weekend ill be like oh nothing much just been watching anime with my boyfriend and shes like whats that ? :S and i try and explain to her what it is but she just sees it as cartoons and its childesh my sister thinks its weird lol i just think that people who see anime as weird should just give it a try or stop judging it because its animated and think its stupid cartoons o_O if you dont like it then dont cry over it xD =) |

| Everyone has their own opinion as to their likes/dislikes. However, it gets on my nerves when people don't like it because they assume that all anime is like "Pokemon" or "Yu-Gi-Oh!". Those are people who are just ignorant. |
