The moment with Knuckle and Shoot was just heartbreaking - "He looked at me as garbage" after risking everything, fighting like he had never done before. Both of them are just amazing characters.

This arc is full of amazing characters. It's crazy to me, that alot of my favorite HxH characters weren't introduced until this arc and made me appreciate the returning characters like Gon, Killua, and Netero more than I did before. And I was already a fan of the series beforehand.

From the very beginning the ants were looking down on human and treating them the worst way possible. why would he cry over that! Youpi is a monster anyway, it's not like he has any value...

Just coming off of watching 116, this episode was disappointing. I'm so glad Cheetu is done for though. As for it being only three minutes so far, I'll take that the same way I took Frieza saying 5 minutes till namek explodes. Time must move very differently in anime.

If anyone payed close attention, I bet they can find a plot hole in the flow of time in that universe. Not worth the effort though.

Yea and he compares it to 5 minutes in DBZ... Honestly you think it's the same? Or is it as realistically as it could at least look like?

First of all, relax it was a joke. But realistically despite how fast they're moving and fighting, the confrontation with Pitou alone was already more than three minutes.

Why would you think I was upset? Yea you are right but it wasn't nearly on the scale of DBZ. All the events happen simultaneously and we have episodes that literally cover like waht 30sec of HxH time? so it's plausible at the least

Because you took it seriously. No doubt it's more reasonable than Frieza saying five minutes and then having a long ass fight with Goku, that was interrupted multiple times by conversation.

Well I took it seriously cause i didn't detect any sarcasm anywhere so it sounded a reasonable comparison but even if I took it seriously why would you assume I was upset.... Ahh forget it.

Why are people comparing it to dragonball z which was made 20 years ago? At that time animators still had to hand draw every fame. Computers have made the process way faster and cost reductive, so hunter has no excuse for being this drawn out. This 2011 series seemed to be a change in the right direction for long running shonen animes having consistently good pacing, however this arc has changed that big time, some of the worst pacing I've seen. And it wouldn't be that bad if the narrator didn't have to dumb things down and describe the obvious. I'm hoping the reason for this is that theyre saving all their budget for the climax of the arc, because at this point HxH is a chore to watch..

Because, unlike DBZ and the shonen trinity, it doesn't spend the drawn out time on charging a power. This is hardly "drawn" out. Just so many things happening in a compressed time frame. Is all.

Yeah instead of dragging out the powering up time, they're dragging out the actual exciting parts, effectively killing any intensity.

They are not really saving up for anything. They are just staying faithful to the manga.

And if you are looking for climaxes or major plot development you will have to wait a lot more, they are not coming anytime soon.

To you maybe. I think the detail needs its time, to play out the development of the plot.
Had it been rushed, imo it would have been no different from any ineffective battle royale with a bunch of action scenes and no substance.

Really? So you think we needed over 5 minutes of Octobro making contemplations with an obvious conclusion? (Brolobster shoots down the door).

That wasn't even this episode. That is 119. At least argue with examples that are from this episode or before it.

Just 3 minutes?! Wow... so much has happened..

Agh, I just can't help but feel that if they had brought a few more fighters, this would have been so much easier. It seems like most of them are able to match the Royal Guard, or at least are able to devise plans to fight them. If they had a few more people, the Royal Guard would have been easier to beat.

I wish the Zoldyck duo had stayed as well...

well wherever Zeno goes, his son follows I guess. It was quite interesting to hear he might have killed someone who wasn't his target for the first time since he took over the family business!

Knuckle n Shoot are fools...

Youpi is confirmed a musclehead~ yet again

Amazing episode. I love how deep we are getting into the head of each individual. Very rarely do we get such a psychological feel for the intensity of battle. If I wanted just straight brawl, there are many anime that cater to that, but this is on an entirely different level. So good.

Lol Cheetuh.

The 3 minutes thingy reminded of DBZ. And that's not necessarily a good thing.

Yeah, Morel's not that strong. Silva & Zeno are way up there.

Also, I don't think Morel really wanted to kill Cheetu. He liked playing around with him.

Just wow. 6 episodes and only 3 minutes have past since the start of the mission? Damn this whole infiltration mission is gonna fill up the rest of the Chimera Ants arc.

Anime time logic. Ever watch Hajime no Ippo? Referees can take about 10 minutes to count down 1 second lol.

The manga has a timer, all things happen simultaneously and you clearly can see it was indeed 3 minutes.

Omg the head of Cheetu looks like a pancake. But I think Zeno would have kill him maybe even crueler. Who knows. But all in all a good episode. I´m really enjoying it.

Mmhmmm 3 minutes. There we have it. Mmm hmm.

However I am terribly disturbed by Knuckle and Shoot's pride . They should've just ran away and be done with it, let Level 7 Bankruptcy do its work. Yeah but on the other hand we won't be seeing a chance to beat Youpi though.

Why would Knuckle and Shoot be upset for something like that? It doesn't make any sense. "Hurr durr I'm angry because he didn't kill me". Also why didn't the royal guard kill him anyway? Couldn't he spare 10 seconds to kill the guy? It's not like he was doing anything important anyway, he was just walking around.

The characters keep acting irrationally.
