| I usually or always browse through the interwebs with a silent surrounding, but when I start to game the music starts. It just feels disturbing and distracting to listen to music or have the TV on when browsing but it's the complete opposite when I game >.<. |

| Always. Noise is distracting. (your vote) I fail as a multitasker...need all attention on what I'm doing at hand. If I listen to music then it's just music - no reading, no chores, no chatting. BTW, I'm very much into classical music, and extraneous activity dampens my enthusiasm for the music. |

| it depends on where I am if I browse in silence or if i have background music. but I will admit silence keeps me more focused on the computer, because when I hear something on the t.v. that makes me go "wha? huh? what the french is going on?" as for online music while browsing, i usually don't go there. |
