Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru

The art is extremely irritating.

Mamotte! Lollipop. The art wasn't that good in my opinion and I didn't like any of the characters or how the story was being told. I have a similar story lots of times before and didn't think it was written well enough to continue with it.

World Embryo!
It was good at first but apparently Daisuke Moriyama doesn't know how to make it improve! It was progressively getting worse! It was just.... BAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I also dropped Girl Saurus within the first few pages.... Is it really necessary for me to explain myself?

Inumimi- so typical, and so very very dull.

Freezing- just felt like another plain old ecchi/action series

I decided to drop AAA (triple A) today. I mainly read shoujo manga so Im starting to get bored if its a little too typical (girl from elite middle school x boy from delinquent middle school). Oh, & for some reason I seem to prefer these type of manga to have characters in high school or older.

I dropped Princess Tutu (if you can call it that, it's only 2 volumes). It was just absolute all around crap. Which is a shame considering how great the anime is.

I also stopped reading Tsubasa after 3 volumes. It was kind of good, but it moved really slow and I don't have enough interest in it to invest in 20+ volumes. I will take that money and get CCS and Chobits instead. I've also read about half of volume 1 of Nana, and I'm not too fond of the first Nana. I'm not sure if I'll continue reading it or not.

Yea, I suppose it is a bit early to pass judgement. But I dunno, didn't really catch my interest, I guess it's more in the tentatively dropped category, lol.

I've dropped a few recently but the most fresh in my mind are Masca and Ko Akuma Cafe.

Masca - well its more a manwha but anyway, this caught my attention cuz the plot sounded interesting and i liked it, so story wise it was fine but what made a no go for me was the drawing style. For me although the story can sound great if I don't like the drawing style it just doesnt do it for me and ruins it so i drop it. It happened with Akuma de sourou(i think thats its name) too. It's all about the art style, i have to like it or i just cant read it.

As for Ko Akuma Cafe, when i first read the summary i liked it - it caught my interest and i was really looking forward to reading it, but after reading about 4 chapters of it i got sick of it, it was dumb so i stopped reading it.

Battle Royale.
It's the first manga I've ever dropped. I can see why people do like Battle Royale, the art is very good, and it is filled with action, but... Although I just said the art is good, I personally don't like it, and I think the character design is very ugly. Yep, it's filled with action but not the kinda action I want to see. I like a bit of blood and stuff, but I don't really want to see school kids getting their teeth blown out of their head and kids getting their throat slit with a sickle. I'm not the kinda guy who cringes at gore at all, but the gore in Battle Royale is just sick, I can't enjoy it. I also feel that the story is very weak, which is probaby what I take notice of the most when I'm reading a manga or watching an anime. I can't come to like any of the characters either. So that's why I dropped it.

Happy World.

I liked the art, I mean I thought it was really nice, but the manga seemed to me to be too much like the anime - not interesting enough and too rushed.

Not sure which one but it is either Hajime no Ippo or Jojo's Bizard Adventures... both of which are 80+ vol. and is still currently ongoing -_-||| I'd like to read something in which I can actually finish in my life time.

Yep, I agree with you. I am *still* catching up with Detective Conan's 600 plus chapters, but I don't think I could do that this year. xDD
Or the next year. O.O

For the question, I have dropped Cafe Latte Rhapsody (6/10)
It's a shonen-ai, which is a genre that I read, but the story is lacking.
Annoying too...

I dropped a few good ones recently:

Code Geass: I don't see the point of reading it, when I already watched both seasons of the anime.

Death Note: Its getting old..

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3: I have played the game enough of times, there is no point of reading the manga.

It's very possible to read 80+ volumes in 3 days or less.

Yes I do realize that... but both series has been ongoing for at least a decade now and does not seem to be finishing in the slightly. I've read DB only because I was reading that manga when Toriyama said he is going to finish it soon in the next couple of years (start of Cell saga was the newest issues in Japanese Shounen Jump when I picked it up).

I've only dropped 2 mangas so far and they are quite the popular ones. Yu Yu Hakusho. I thougth it had a great start but I totally disliked his "nakama" "possy" "group" or how you want to call it. And I think I disliked the art to.

The other is Hajime no Ippo, he had to much of a boner for his opponent and he's to geeky to my liking. And I didn't thougth I had the stomach to read 600+ chapters of boxing. Even more now that it's broke the 800+ chapters.

Yeah, there are alot of books. X___X But it does have a good story, at least to me.

I dropped Zodiac P.I. 'cause I accidentally brought the 2nd book first, and I can't seem to find the first one. XP

I'm not too picky...so I don't drop manga very often. However, there are two. The first was Drifting Classroom - that was just too weird for me and I didn't really care for the art style. The second was Death Note - I saw the anime through to the end - hated it - and decided that reading the manga wasn't worth my time. But yeah...other than that I can't think of any that I disliked enough to just stop in the middle. I generally try to see things through to the end. ^_^;

Umm I dropped both Basilisk and Sand Chronicles today at about the same time....

Basilisk should be good but somehow it just annoys me. The art is fantastic so I really should like it but I can't.

Sand Chronicles I can just feel will make me sad in a "disturbed for weeks" sort of way. I don't need that sort of sadness right now. So Sand Chronicles can wait for an indefinite time.
Anyone interested in helping me with a new signature >.<.... I really am useless with this sort of thing.

Miracle Dieter Miyuki; the art sucked, the plot was terrible and cliche (I only began reading it because I thought it was a parody, and it wasn't), the main character...no...all the characters annoyed me.

Dropped Yozakura Quartet. Found it really boring and the characters uninteresting. I picked up the first two volumes and ended up rushing through the 2nd one to finish it and get it out of the way.
