| We all know that if you eat a devil's fruit that you'll never be able to swim again. But there are certain devil's fruit that can turn you into certain animals or creatures. (AKA Zoan-type fruit) So here's my question. What would happen if you ate a devil's fruit that gave you the powers of a fish? Discuss! |

| I think the whole concept of Devil Fruits and it's weakness is ironic, especially in a pirate age where the users are given "strength" but are also surrounded by bodies of oceans, this is one of the reasons I got interested in the first place. - On Topic - Wow. This is actually a pretty good question.. I heard of the possible water logia, but also questionable of being able to swim. Well let's see, so far we've only seen land or airborne Zoan types - with some belonging to a fruit animal family category with different models (example: Cat Fruit - Model: Leopard). With that said, I'm doubtful it would happen, though I don't mind if it does.. but if it does, I could only see it being used for humor. Not to mention there are already Fishmen... which makes me think.. Maybe Oda thought about fishes as part of the Zoans, but gave up and just made Fishmen a race? ( * o * ) |

| Even though you can't swim, you won't die since you can breath underwater. When Luffy was knocked down by Arlong, he was still able to strech but was unable to move. He didn't lose his ability and so Nojiko and Genzo were able to save him. So I assume that fish type Zoan can breath but becomes very weak when in water. But it's still pretty useless ability. |

| What about a zoan that lets you become an amphibian, or something that can survive on land and in the water. Would be interesting to see. |
