| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not sure why I picked it up, it doesn't seem to be my taste. The characters all look pretty much alike to me and there's a bit too much CG for my taste. But I'm willing to give it a few more episodes. You never know. The preview looks better at least. |

| I like it. I didn't mind the cg, I usually dont if it is done well,should be interesting to see how close the story is to its predecessors. |

| The CG testifies to a low-budget series. I expect many more scenes of people sitting and talking. It was a pretty ridiculous spectacle to see ATs show no more durability than unarmored foot-soldiers. Why does anyone even use them? Or maybe they depicted it like that so they could just rip-off D-Day movies wholesale, regardless of the fact that it ruins the verisimilitude of "real robots". I noticed they stole a shot verbatim from Saving Private Ryan. |
| The CGI makes the action less enjoyable, but it's still watchable. We get to see more of the "hell" that Chirico went through. |
